Hospitality Description: We can provide full service, pick up from Airport, fully catered holiday. Jane is an amazing cook and will create you a wonderful menu of New Zealand cuisine. We can act as tour guides, transport you in our modern spacious vehicle, visiting local attractions as well as day or overnight trips from our place. The Bay of Islands is a mere two hour drive where we can book you on amazing boat trips. Visit the historic township of Russell. Fishing and Boating adventures on our beautiful coastline. We will contain ourselves to one room of the house so you have full use of the facilities you see. If you have something special in mind just ask or we can send you a list of options for fully guided fully catered holidays.

General Overview

Welcome to our modern, comfortable Beach Home at Stunning Langs beach, built in 2022. With amazing sea views from the spacious decks you can relax and enjoy all the winterless North has to offer. Langs Beach and neighbouring Waipu Cove, just over the hill, were recently voted New Zealand’s best “Hidden Gem Beach” and New Zealand’s best Beach in a nationwide survey. Langs Beach is a stunning white sand beach fringed with pōhutukawa trees for shade with good swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and paddle-boarding nearby. Located only 1.5 hours from Auckland.

The Space

The home was architecturally designed as two pavilions connected with covered decks. In the living pavilion is an Entertainers kitchen and scullery, living and dining room. Four spacious bedrooms in the sleeping pavilion, three Queen bedrooms one with ensuite, and a fourth bedroom with bunks, couch, kitchenette and second TV perfect for a teenage hangout. Main family bathroom with separate shower and bath, separate toilet and second ensuite bathroom off the master. There is also an outdoor shower and third toilet off the deck for easy changing after the beach. The house is flooded with natural light and every bedroom enjoys a sea view as does the lounge and dining area perfect for relaxing and entertaining.

Guest Access

The house is accessed up a flight of stairs from the parking area below. Or park on the driveway further up for unloading, before moving back to the parking area below. Not suitable for children under 2 years of age.

There is a small superette and takeaway over the hill 3 mins by car at Waipu Cove

Neighbourhood

Langs Beach is a downhill 950m walk away there is easy parking if you prefer to take the car. Just over the hill to the North is Waipu Cove and another excellent family friendly Beach with a great restaurant, The Cove, also with Beach views Another 10mins along the road is Waipu Township itself with McLeods Pizza Barn and brewery which is great for all ages. 14 mins by car in the other direction will take you to Mangawhai Heads and township which offers a surf Beach or estuary for safe swimming for little ones. Bennett's Chocolate Shop Cafe and Bakery is certainly worth a visit. The Coastal Walkway is only 4 mins from the house and provides a stunning coastal walkway with scenic views. This takes approx 50 mins moderate fitness required.
