General overview
We live in a beautiful heritage home in East Vancouver.
The neighbourhood is super vibrant and safe. It offers something for everyone.
We're set back off the main street by a few blocks, so it's incredibly peaceful in our hood, but if you walk a few blocks you can discover great restaurants and cafe's on Commercial Drive.
"The Drive" is known for it's alternative style, determined community that want to keep things local and they love community spirit. You will not see a chain store or cafe on the drive, they don't succeed. No starbucks in sight.
The space
The home boasts a huge living space, large livingroom with a seperate play area, piano and reading area.
We have a large kitchen and dining room, that opens out onto the back deck.
The home has a beautful private garden, that is great for socialising and for families. Unique for a city such as vancouver. The garden is secure, so it's great for young kids.
The home caters for families, as we have a toddler. We can leave toys out or clear them away.
We have lots of games and toys for the garden. There is a small climbing frame in the garden for young children.
We love to socialise, so we have plenty of games and it's a wonderful house for entertaining.
Guest access
The house is over 2 floors. We have 2 sets of stairs to come into the property. Then a flight of stairs to head down into the garden.
The bedrooms are both on the upper floor.

Our family of 3 lives in Vancouver, Canada. We moved in 2017 from the UK and love the outdoor lifestyle that Vancouver has to offer.
Our city is great for families and we can explore all of the local acitivities as a family.
We enjoy swimming, biking, snowboarding, camping, mountain biking, yoga, hiking, paddleboarding and everything that BC has to offer!
We are very fotunate to call BC our home and as expats, we would love to share ideas of places to explore in our city and province.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure.
