Not suitable for individuals with mobility restrictions ‼️ # NO cleaning service, so we kindly ask our house swappers to leave our cottage tidy and cleaned. We treat others' homes with care and expect the same in return. # NO A/C - the cottage has a wood stove and several electric heaters. ----------------- We have a deep affection for our quaint cottage nestled within a vast garden. It serves as our personal retreat, which we use year-round to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We renovated the cottage during the corona pandemic and fulfilled our children's wish with an own little playground. An outdoor kitchen including a grill, pizza oven and stove invites you to stay outside most of the time. Our 3 children are busy all day long and we as parents can enjoy some peace and me time 🙃 The Ammersee is within walking distance. It takes about 60 minutes to get to Munich by public transport and about 45 minutes by car ----------------- We love our rustic holiday home with the huge garden and really enjoy spending our time there. We renovated it ourselves and fulfilled a heartfelt wish for our children with our own small playground. An outdoor kitchen including a grill, pizza oven and stovetop completes our jewel. Our 3 children are busy all day and as parents you can also enjoy some peace and quiet 🙃 The Ammersee is within walking distance. It's about 60 minutes by public transport to Munich and about 45 minutes by car

The space

Our cottage is not handicap accessible due to the stairs and its size. The cottage has a total size of 50 square meters and one bathroom! In addition to a small hallway, the fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher is located in the entrance area. From there you have access to the living room and to the bathroom. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. From the kitchen there is direct access to the outdoor kitchen. Living area and dining room is one unit. A historic wood stove is the highlight of the ground floor. From the dining room you have a great view into the backyard so you can watch the children play. A separate bedroom with bunk bed (80×190) and bed (140x200) is on the ground floor. It can accommodate up to 4 people. The attic can be reached from the living area via a steep, handcrafted steel staircase. There is a dormitory with sleeping facilities for up to 6 people. A small play corner keeps children in a good mood when the weather is bad. The property on the hillside has a total area of ​​3,000 square meters and is home to centuries-old trees. Lizards, slow worms, dormice, bats. A colorful world of birds feels at home here. The covered approx. 30sqm outdoor kitchen is ideal for barbecuing even if it is rainy or snowing. You can use the pizza oven, a gas grill and two hotplates. A 5m x 3m x 1.30m pool provides fun during summer (use at your own risk). ------------- Our cabin is not wheelchair accessible due to the stairs and its size. The hut has a total size of 50 square meters and a bathroom! In addition to a small hallway, there is a fully equipped kitchen in the entrance area including a dishwasher. In Pähl and the neighboring communities there are many small, down-to-earth businesses that sell food from the region. There is also a small farm with a 24/7 milk vending machine. Whether sailing course, riding course or golf course, the area has a lot to offer in terms of sports. Or how about a day trip to Munich or to the Alps? Even if you are not in the mood to do anything you can spend a wonderful time in the cottage. ------------ Secluded location outside of Pähl in the Fischen district. Getting to my home

The easiest way to visit us is by car. You could also come by train via Herrsching am Ammersee. After a 10 minutes ride by bus to Aidenried you have to walk the last 250m.
