We are also happy to exchange our family house in Munich city centre.
Please note the following details about our house BEFORE contacting me.
# The cottage has a total size of 50 sqm and only one bathroom! !️

# Not wheelchair accessible. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility! !️
# NO cleaning service, so we ask our home exchangers to leave our cottage tidy and clean. We treat the houses of others with care and expect the same in return.
# NO air conditioning – the cottage has a wood burning stove and several electric heaters.

We have a deep affection for our quaint cottage, nestled in a huge garden. It is our personal retreat that we use all year round to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We renovated the house during the Corona pandemic and fulfilled our children's heart's desire with their own small playground.
An outdoor kitchen including barbecue, pizza oven and stove invites you to spend most of your time outside.
Our 3 children are busy all day and we as parents can also enjoy 🙃 peace and time for ourselves
Lake Ammersee is within walking distance.
Munich is about 60 minutes by public transport and about 45 minutes by car
The Space
Our cottage is not handicapped accessible due to the stairs and its size.
The cottage has a total size of 50 sqm and a bathroom!
In addition to a small hallway, the fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher is located in the entrance area. From there you can access the living room and the bathroom.
The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine.
From the kitchen you can directly access the outdoor kitchen.
The living area and dining room form a unit. A historic wood-burning stove is the highlight of the ground floor. From the dining room you have a great view into the backyard, so you can watch the children play.
A separate bedroom with bunk bed (80×190) and bed (140x200) is located on the ground floor. It can accommodate up to 4 people.
The attic can be reached from the living area via a steep, handmade steel staircase. There is a dormitory with sleeping facilities for up to 6 people. A small play corner ensures a good mood for the children in bad weather.
The hillside property has a total area of 3,000 sqm and is home to centuries-old trees. Lizards, slow worms, dormice, bats. A colorful bird life feels at home here.
The covered outdoor kitchen of approx. 30 square meters invites you to barbecue even in rain or snow. A pizza oven and gas grill are available.
A 5m x 3m x 1.30m pool provides fun in summer/mid-June to September (use at your own risk).
Guest Access
The cottage has 3 floors, but the basement cannot be shared.
Access to the cottage is via stairs. A steep metal staircase, made especially for the cottage, leads to the attic.
Climbing stairs is a must.
Notes
Sand toys and games are available in the cabin. We are happy to provide a basic set of spices, vinegar, oil, toilet paper and tea towels.
As we are not always able to collect the used bed linen and towels, we would appreciate it if you could bring your own. However, if you are traveling from overseas, we will be happy to provide you with these things.

Neighbourhood
Secluded location outside Pähl in the district of Fischen.
Walking distance to the beautiful Ammersee and the bird sanctuary. Small walks and hikes are possible from here.
In Pähl and the neighboring communities, there are many small, down-to-earth businesses that sell food from the region. There is also a small farm with a 24/7 milk vending machine.
Whether sailing course, riding course or golf course, the area has a lot to offer in terms of sport.
Or how about a day trip to Munich or the Alps?
Even if you don't feel like doing anything, you can have a wonderful time in the holiday home.
Getting to my home
The easiest way to reach us is by car.
You can also travel by train via Herrsching am Ammersee. After a 10-minute bus ride to Aidenried, you will have to walk the last 250m.
The bus line is not heavily frequented!
It is also possible to arrive by bike.
