Neighbourhood

Plenty to do in terms of walking, enjoying scenery, eating, drinking and traditional music. The beaches all around the area are idyllic and almost deserted. A five minute drive from Carrickfinn beach and 15 minutes from Bunbeg and 'Bád Eddie'. You an take a boat trip out to some of the islands which are still inhabited and where Gaeilge is spoken. The house is also situated in the Gaeltacht area, where the language has been preserved. Teach Leo is also a five minute drive, home of Enya and Clannad and where live, traditional music can be heard every night during the summer months. We love the house for it's tranquility and for getting away from everything in the true sense of the word.

Breanda

Hiya, we're a family of four. We're quite open minded about where to travel but we do like sunshine (being Irish and not getting much) and beaches but we also like exporting cities. We can do non simultaneous swaps
