Centrally located, with easy access to Boulder, Denver and the Rocky Mountains, our family home has so much to offer your adventuresome family, or those looking for a small town experience in beautiful Colorado.
Our home features modern touches, a large back yard and a cozy back patio with ample room to relax. Feel free to enjoy an evening fire in the chiminea or enjoy grilling a delicious meal using fresh herbs from the garden.
Within walking distance, you'll find Waneka lake, a local brewery, and multiple parks. Waneka lake is one of our favorite natural areas, offering one of the best views of the mountains, and an easy yet enjoyable place to enjoy some time outdoors. It's also an amazing spot to catch a sunset (or a fish if you have a license). It's also right next to a working farm, which has a neat farm stand that opens up in the summer months.
If you head East, a 20-minute walk will take you to downtown Lafayette.
The Space

Our home has been tastefully updated over the years to provide a warm and welcoming experience for all guests and visitors. The open floor-plan lets plenty of light in and makes the living space feel accommodating.
Our home is a tri-level – you enter on the middle floor into the main living space which flows into the dining space and kitchen. Down a short flight of stairs is another living space where you'll find a TV, Wii console and piano along with board games, Lego & other toys tucked inside built in cabinets.
Upstairs, you'll find the bedrooms, bathrooms, linen closet and washer/dryer. In the primary bedroom, you'll find a queen bed, two small closets and an attached 3/4 bath (with a shower).
The second bedroom has a two twin sized beds with the option of a third, pull-out trundle (also a twin). The third bedroom has one twin sized bed and a small desk. Our home sleeps 6 comfortably.
The main bathroom is off the hallway and has been recently remodeled with a deep soaking tub.
If you're looking for some quiet space to work, enjoy some yoga, or just relax during your stay, we've recently added a backyard studio office. The office includes a standing desk, lots of natural light and a heat pump to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Our town prides itself on being a welcoming community with a focus on art, so you'll be able to enjoy murals, sculpture scattered throughout.
Lafayette is East of Boulder (20 minutes) and North of Denver (30 minutes) and provides easy access to the Rocky Mountains (60-90 minutes) and a number of other locations along the Front Range.
Our neighborhood is quiet, diverse and close to everything you'll need to enjoy your time here.

We had such an amazing time at Chris and Meredith’s home in Lafayette. It was so handy to Boulder and Denver but the area itself is lovely too. The house is a well set up family home, plenty of space and entertainment for our kids and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A close walk to local amenities and a pretty lake, playground etc. Communication and instructions were great and accommodating a longer stay at short notice was much appreciated. The welcome gifts were unnecessary but so much appreciated, grateful for hospitality going above and beyond ❤️ -
We had a great time at Meredith's house! It was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the bike paths all around town and the near by parks. Thank you!
