General Overview
84 square meter apartment with lots of light & cozy "hygge" feeling. Pets are allowed.
Fits 2 people in queen-size bed/ 3 if one is willing to sleep on couch.
I have a newly built balcony connected to my bedroom that opens up completely on both sides as a nice extension of the room. Here you will usually have plenty of sun during mornings and mid day, perfect for starting your day with a hot cup of coffee.
The apartment is placed right next to the metro at Nuuks Plads that will take you anywhere in Copenhagen within minutes. Bike around like the locals or walk around the hip area of Nørrebro which has been awarded 'the coolest neighborhood in the world' by Time Out Magazine in 2021: "This diverse district, on the northern side of Copenhagen’s lakes, is a dazzling blend of historic landmarks, ultramodern architecture and food and drink joints to make this famously gourmet city proud."

Amanda was very easy to communicate with always responding promptly and with consideration. Amanda’s apartment was perfect for us. It was very comfortable and had a light and spacious feel. The location was also perfect for us being far enough out of the city to get a real feel to how younger Danish families lived yet close enough to walk to most of the main tourist areas within 30-40 mins. Otherwise the metro station is just 2 minutes away and allows access to the entire Copenhagen transport systems. It was one of our best exchanges to date and we would certainly come back or look forward to welcoming Amanda in Australia . -
Amanda’s place is just lovely - it was lovely to meet her when we arrived and she kindly left us an a lovely welcome gift. Amanda was so helpful and easy to communicate with. She gave us lots of great information on what to do in Copenhagen. We had a fabulous time exploring Copenhagen! Her apartment is very close to the metro Nuuks Plads less than a five minute walk away. Great coffee shops and places to eat near by as well. The local supermarket (well stocked) is approx a 10 minute walk away as well. We were very comfortable at Amanda’s home it is very well equipped and we loved being able to cook our own meals and relaxing there after busy days of exploring the city. Thank you Amanda for a wonderful exchange. We hope to see you again one day soon! -
We enjoyed our stay in Copenhagen on sim-exchange with Amanda. Her apartment is well located very near to the metro station, and an easy walk to Nørrebro on one side and the genteel Frederiksberg on the other - lots of great little shops and cafes/restaurants within walking distance or a quick metro ride or bus. The apartment is comfortable and had everything we needed for a week long stay in a quiet street. It was a hot week in Copenhagen and we were able to stay cool and have a relaxing holiday. -
I had the absolute pleasure of staying in Amanda’s light-filled apartment in Copenhagen for a 3-week exchange, and I can’t say enough good things. Her home is beautifully designed with huge windows in the kitchen, living room, and bedroom—flooding the space with natural light. The balcony was one of my favorite spots to sit and read, and the location was fantastic. I could walk everywhere, and the metro (the cleanest I’ve ever seen!) was just a 3-minute walk from the apartment. Amanda also shared some fantastic local recommendations—her suggestion to take the ferry from Copenhagen to Oslo was one of my trip's highlights. Staying in her apartment helped me fall in love with the city. I now fully understand why Copenhagen is often ranked as one of the happiest cities in the world—there’s a calm, joyful energy to both the place and its people. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to experience Amanda’s home—it was extraordinary, and I’d return in a heartbeat. -

Amanda's flat is super pleasant, the whole space is quite confortable and the balcony overlooking the inner courtyard is just super nice to have. It is also very well equipped. It’s located close to the centre, right next to the metro and the greenway for cycling, it was super easy to get anywhere. Really a pleasure and a super nice contact with Amanda ! Very nice apartment perfect for a couple or small family. Amanda provided plenty of tips and the apartment was very close to the Metro and a fun shopping street with nice restaurants and interesting shops. After a long day of running around, it was super comfortable to return here at the end of the day. -

Amanda’s place is perfect. It’s tidy, spacious and in the best location in Copenhagen. I felt so comfortable in her place and really felt at home. Entry was easy, communication was clear and the apartment had everything I needed and more (a balcony and a room to do my make up in!). -
We had such a good time doing our very first home swap with Amanda. Communicating with her beforehand was extremely lovely. Amanda‘s apartment is beautiful and cozy. There is lots of light and more than enough room for two. It was all perfectly clean and we felt very much at home. The neighbourhood is centrally located and very sweet. Lots of cute bars and restaurants to discover. We even got to meet Amanda, who is just really sweet and thoughtful. She made our first home swap truly a pleasure and we‘re big fans now! 10/10 ;) -
We had a wonderful 2 night exchange in Amanda’s lovely apartment. We were lucky to meet Amanda on our arrival, and she was very welcoming and organised. Her apartment is light filled, clean and beautifully decorated in Scandinavian style. Amanda’s apartment is in a fantastic location right near the easy to use metro.
