General overview
From the outside it's your typical townhouse Cape Cod stylr condo, but once you come in the views take your breath away. I can't say how many times workmen or visitors or neighbors remark at how surprised they are when they come in the door. Throughout the year we enjoy the changing vistas out each of the glass sliders, on all three levels.
The space
It's three steps up to the inside of our front door, when you enter, you're greeted by a functional entry way with storage for coats/hats, baskets for bear gear, hooks for bags. To the right is our renovated (2019) ushaped kitchen with updated appliances, marble counters, gas appliances. We had an oversized maple table custom made to seat up to 12 people with extension boards in our connected dining space. On this level is a half bath and three steps lead down to a sunken living room equipped with full movement flat screen tv with surround sound, Xbox One, wood burning fireplace, ceiling fan. Two large glass sliders lead out to the deck overlooking Shotstring Bay.
Up stairs are two bedrooms, the primary bedroom with adjustable kind sized bed and walk in closet, faces the water with it's own full bath with stand up shower. The second bedroom has two double beds, one with full motion, as well as it's own full bathroom, including tub.
Downstairs is a seprate "lockable" suite tht can be used as a separate space for groups traveling together. You'll find new (2020) LG washer & dryer, a full size refrigerator, overflow food storage area in a laundry/pantry area. There is also a desk available for use in this space. Down the hall is another full bath with stall shower, attached is the utility room. In the hall is another desk/music space for someone needing quiet space to work/compose. Beyond the bifold doors is a queen bedroom with storage and slider to the lower patio with Adirondack seating. In this space is my workshop - I make art out of seashells, it started as a greif therapy project that grew - which can be removed, see photos - it's a door on sawhorses.
The attic is locked with personal items and storage while we travel. We request our guests refrain from attempting to enter. While there is sleeping space, it is not a safe bedroom - as there is no egress should a fire break out.
Outside we maintain plants on our decks as allowed by the association. We usually have a good crop of tomatoes working on the upper deck, and several varieties of dahlias and canna lillies as well.
Guest access
There are three levels available for guest use. There are two sets of stairs, and one three step down to a sunken living space.
There is a pool, salt water system, heated by solar that's typically quiet warm when the sun allows. Beyond that are two tennis courts resurfaced (2022) and lined with pickleball marks as well. The condo also has a fenced area used for off leash dog exercise as dogs must be leashed at all times per Massachusetts law.
Behind the clubhouse and recreation areas are many walking trails. We are 1.5 miles to Loop Beach in Barnstable (sticker required - we walk) and 15 minutes to South Cape State Beach in Mashpee and so many more the Cape has to offer.

People Like Us Local Guide
I'm a realtor, so I know a lot about the Cape, Mashpee especially, activities, restuarants, etc. My family has been here for ages, if I don't know the answer, I know someone who does. I don't drink and am a natural introvert, so socializing isn't my jam, but I'm here for help and advice!

Shoestring Bay from the bridge down the street, our condo looks out over the water
We have two kayaks that we walk across the street and drop in the bay
Down the street there's a walking trail in the woods, along the trail is a bench set looking out at an area called "King's Grant" - this is shot from the bench

Standing at the grill downstairs, those decks are our neighbors two doors over. It's a townhouse style with patios and decks private to each. But, it is condo life so folks are close.
