General overview

House with a lovely garden with edible plants. In our house there is room for all kinds of activities; the kitchen in the center where we bake the most delicious baked goods together; a play area with climbing wall and hanging bag and endless toys for children; a cupboard full of games; a studio and workshop for painting or crafting; 5 bedrooms (soon to be 6) to retreat to and a nice office. We've been living here for over a year now so there are still a few imperfections and I'm still busy working on the attic.

Neighbourhood

We live in a residential area in Ede. Ede is located in the middle of the Netherlands. Which gives us the luxury of living somewhere close to home. In two hours you are (almost) in all corners of the country. You are close to Amsterdam, Utrecht, but also the Wadden Islands in the far north and the hilly south of the Netherlands are never far away. We are lucky to live in the middle of very beautiful nature (especially forests and heaths). On days off we are in 10 minutes in beautiful places where we can relax and play with our family. We have very sweet and quiet neighbors on all sides and my parents and sister live around the corner. You read it already: we love living here!
