Neighbourhood
This is a peaceful residential area, mostly with appartment buildings. It’s actually one of the first suburbs in Oslo. Our home is located very close to the vast forest that surrounds Oslo, so here you’ll have excellent opportunities for hiking.
There are several bus lines passing by, so public transportation is excellent. It will take you about 30 minutes to go by bus to the city centre of Oslo, the Norwegian capital. As a capital and Norway’s biggest city, Oslo features a variety of attractions, concerts, restaurants, shops etc. Some of Oslo’s main attractions include the Opera House, the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, the Akershus Fortress, a city beach, the new National Museum, the new Munch Museum, the Polar Expedition Museum and much more.

Nearest airport
Oslo Airport (OSL), which is located about 40 minutes by car or bus from our home.
Getting around
The nearest grocery store is about a 4 minutes walk from the appartment. There is a mall/shopping center about an 8 minutes walk from our home, or two stops by bus.
There are four bus lines stopping close to our apartment, just about 2 minutes to walk. It is also possible to walk to the subway in 10-15 minutes, or take the bus 4 stops to the subway.
