General overview
Our home is spacious and bright with loads of natural sunlight. It has a peaceful feeling with upscale finishings and furniture. It was updated two years ago and is clean, modern and truly a delight (can you tell I'm proud of it!). Our location is fantastic, just a few minute walk to Lake Ontario, the harbour and parks and a two minute walk to a wonderful gelato shop, tons of dining options, shops and much more. We are on a quiet residential street but close to so many great places. We do have a fully fenced rear yard with small gardens and patio - lovely but not overly large. Our front porch is perfect to enjoy a morning coffee or tea and to watch the neighbourhood stroll by with their dogs, coffees in hand (Starbucks close by) or with their paddleboards or kayaks heading to the harbour for a morning paddle. We are super lucky to live in such a great spot!
The space
Our home is a detached two story home recently updated so clean and modern.
On the main level is our great room including living room with two comfortable sofas, eating area and kitchen. This has high cathedral ceilings letting in tons of sunlight. There are many windows and patio doors leading to our rear deck and garden. Also on this level is a full restroom, dining room, living/sitting room, office (high speed internet and wifi), and laundry room. Our garage holds two vehicles, one of which may be included in swap.
The upper level holds three bedrooms. Our main bedroom has a large, king size bed, attached full restroom/WC with shower and separate tub. It also contains a separate walk-in closet. There are two more bedrooms one with a queen and one with a double bed. They share an attached bathroom/WC between them also with two sinks, separate shower and tub.
Our lower level has a large recreation/family room with a big screen tv and full size pool table. There is also an additional bedroom with one queen bed, a full bathroom with a shower and a separate gym/exercise room.
Guest access
There are about 15 stairs to the upper level and the same to the lower level. The front door has two steps up. The rear garden is about five steps down from the deck to the garden area.
