General Overview

A family home on the south side of Dublin city, near the beach and near the suburban village of Sandymount. Near Aviva Stadium, Lansdowne Road, and RDS. Good transport links - bus, light rail (Dart). About 35-40 minutes to walk to city centre. Quiet residential area.

The Space

The garden floor - double bedroom, single bedroom, bathroom - plus living room, kitchen / dining open plan, bathroom, garden. For Hospitality stays, the two bedrooms and the bathroom would be for exclusive use of guests - the living room, kitchen / dining open plan may be shared with us. The upper floor of the house is not offered to guests. We have two small dogs - for Hospitality stays, they sometimes go to stay with extended family.

Neighbourhood

Walks along the seafront promenade or along a nature trail to a quiet cove. Playground nearby. Two suburban villages within a few minutes' walk - supermarkets, pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. Various sporting and event venues, wide variety of bars and dining options in walking distance.

Getting to my home

Dublin airport is a 30 minute drive and the air coach from airport stops nearby. Dublin port is a 20 minute drive. There is a Dart light rail station 6 minutes' walk from the house - connects to train network - and a bus stop 5 minutes' walk.

Getting Around

City centre is 15 minutes by bus. Train network connection from the local light rail station 6 minutes' walk away. No need for a car.
