General Overview

Right here in Chiayi, a city in Southern Taiwan, you'll find a lot of art, culture, and beautiful scenery. It's super convenient – the Chiayi High-Speed Rail station is just a ten-minute walk, so you can easily travel to other cities in Taiwan within one or two hours. Our building also has a gym, swimming pool, KTV, and billiard room. There's free parking too. Feel free to use it. Many international people live in our building. English here is not a problem. We have everything you need at home. We love Japanese style, so you'll feel a strong Japanese vibe here – we hope you like it!

The Space

1. Living room where you can relax and use a portable projector to watch YouTube or Netflix. There are also two large tables for working. One of the wooden tables has an extra computer screen you can use. Please don't use the speakers or microphone to avoid breaking them. 2. Bedroom has a double size bed.

Guest Access

The elevator, main building door, and apartment door all use magnetic card access. We'll leave a magnetic card for you in our mailbox. You can get the card by opening the lockbox attached to the mailbox using a code.

Notes

1. Take off shoes indoors 2. No smoking indoors; there will be a detection 3. You can use our car to go out. It's a company rental, so the rent is free, but you'll need to pay the rental company per kilometer you drive (it's still very cheap). 4.Please don't eat or drink on the tatami mats.

Neighbourhood

From our place, it's only about a ten-minute drive to the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, nice bike paths, and lots of supermarkets and bakeries. Chiayi is also famous for Alishan, where you can see amazing sunrises and go hiking. Plus, the food here is fantastic and affordable – Chiayi is really known as a food paradise, and it's also full of art and culture

Getting to my home

When you arrive at Taipei Taoyuan Airport, you can take the High-Speed Rail directly to Chiayi Station. From there, it's just a ten-minute walk to our building here in Taibao. If you have luggage, you can easily grab a yellow taxi right outside the HSR station – it will cost around NT$100.
