Neighbourhood

An ideal choice for anyone who wants to be two feet away from the beach yet in a calm, peaceful spot too, where you can do other activities, apart from going to the beach, without having to walk anywhere. Swimming in the pool, for example, or playing tennis, squash, snooker or table tennis or fishing in the Atlantic sea. The nearby fishing village (just 0, 5 Km away) has all the necessary places that you need for day-to-day living: grocers, baker, cafés and restaurants. There is a Infantile Park with Maintenance Circuit and pleasant space for picnic. There is also a coast road of 50 km with a biking way. Nazaré, a fishing town, is only 7 km away with his beaches and seafood restaurants. Marinha Grande is the Portuguese centre of handmade and industrial glass and crystal, since the 18th century. Nearby are the Spas of Monte Real, medieval monasteries of Alcobaça and Batalha, the famous sanctuary of Fátima (30 minutes by car), Leiria’s Castle and Lisbon itself is only 100 km down the highway.
