General overview

Welcome to the city where Fahrenheit was born. Our 110m2 apartment is located in the XIX century, central part of Gdańsk, by the campus of the technical university and a university park. The building still needs some restoration on the outside but we have put a lot of work and creativity into our apartment, which used to be a kindergarden more than 100 years ago. It consists of four rooms, two bathrooms, big kitchen with a family table, an old XIX century style porch and a small garden with a place to sit outside. The rooms of our teenage kids are not available for exchanging so we offer our bedroom with queen size bed and a separate bathroom, a living room, a big kichen with a family table and a veranda. There are two sofas to sleep on in the living room and one on the veranda. WiFi, Netflix and HBO included :) Important information - we have three super nice cats. We can arrange smn to take care of them but they need to stay home. Our home is located 10 min by car/tram/bicycle from great beaches and walking paths near The Baltic sea and the same distance to the Old Town in Gdansk.

Neighbourhood

XIX century buildings and a campus of a Technical University in Gdańsk, parks, viewing points. A little further - beautiful beaches of the Baltic see, the Old Town with lots of restaurants and caffes, a former shipyard transformed into a modern industrial clubs and food center foodhall Montownia and many other attractions like go-carts center, the Museum of the Second World War, interactive museums for kids, great parks with walking paths along the seaside etc. You can get to most of the attractions by city electric bikes, the station is 2 min from our home. So many options for both adults and kids :)

Getting to my home

It is very easy to get to our home from the airport (you can take cab or a train). It's also very easy by car or public transport because it's a city center, although in a very quiet place.

Nearest airport

Lech Walesa airport in Gdansk, 20min by car/cab

Getting around

7 min to Lidl, 5 min to the local grocery store. There are a couple of great places nearby to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. It's super easy to get around using trams.
