General overview

Our house with swimming pool is located ten minutes from the most beautiful beaches and small ports in southern Brittany.

The space

Our house was built in 2005 with an enclosed garden of 1100m². Since 2021, we have had a 7.30x3.50 heated outdoor swimming pool. We really like our house which is located in the countryside in a very nice and quiet area. We are 1 kilometer from all amenities (all local shops and tourist office. Family supervised beaches of Pouldu (surfing school, sailing, kayaking...) or Kerfany (with its beach passion point) are 10 minutes by car.On the ground floor, is the living room and living room, the kitchen open to the living room, a bedroom with an electric double bed, a bathroom (walk-in shower), wc, and the access to the adjoining garage.Upstairs, there is a mezzanine which serves as an office, a first bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with bathtub, wc, another bedroom (games room and workshop) with a double bed, and finally a dressing-lingerie.

We are convinced that, with us, you will have an unforgettable stay because we will do everything for it. You will quickly feel at home there, at your own pace, according to your desires and your projects, with family or friends. Obviously, you have to like oysters, pancakes, fresh fish, cider, far Breton... You have to appreciate the beach, but also walk the coastal paths, in the forest, see your children in the fine sand of the beaches or hunt shrimp. You can enjoy Concarneau (the walled city), Pont-Aven and its legendary painters, Lorient and its sites, but also why not its interceltic festival (in August), Quimper, city of art and history and of its cornouaille festival (in July). Come and meet our Brittany one evening of fest-noz... Our region is a vibrant and gastronomic land, land of water sports and hiking, land of art and culture, what better idea for holidays than to come to us? Our house is pleasant facing south you will enjoy the sun all day on the terrace. If you have children, they can enjoy the various games in the games room as well as children's books. We have a trampoline in the garden that will delight your children. We will respect your home as much as we respect ours. Our bikes are at your disposal. We live in a very nice neighborhood. We get along very well with the neighbors. We have an Étoile cat, two rabbits that live outside (chamalow and Cerise) and two goldfish that you will need to feed during your stay. We accept smokers but not in the house. We are open to all proposals. make us dream. We operate primarily on a reciprocal home exchange basis.

Neighbourhood

Our house is located in southern Finistère between Lorient and Quimper, in a very quiet area. Our neighbors are very friendly and you can ask them for advice or help if needed. Our house is close to all amenities (1 kilometer). We are therefore 10 minutes from the beaches, small ports like Doëlan. 5 minutes from the house you have a national forest which runs along a river. We are 12 km from Pont-Aven and its new museum, the land of painters, the most famous of which was Gauguin. We are 20 minutes from Concarneau and its walled town. Lorient and its interceltic festival (in August) and its city of sailing is only 20 minutes from the house. Quimper, city of art and history is only 35 minutes away. A little further (1 hour drive) you have to the west, Brest (with Océanopolis), the Pointe du Raz, and to the east you have the Morbihan golf course, Quiberon, Carnac .... A real camp base for a successful holiday to discover in less than an hour a real summary of our very dear Brittany. Lorient airport is 25 minutes from the house, it has connections with Paris. Otherwise you have Brest airport which is an hour's drive from the house. At the farthest Nantes at two hours. Paris at 5:30 a.m. You have an SNCF station in Quimperlé (connection with Paris) 10 minutes from the house.

We are a family of three Bretons. Me, Stephanie, I do not work and take care of the small family. David my husband is responsible for tourism in our community of communes. Louna our daughter is 14 years old. She is in college and practices kickboxing (she is champion of Brittany). We love to travel especially in house exchange. We have already made thirteen exchanges which have gone wonderfully well. We are delighted to meet new people, and to introduce them to our beautiful region. We love culture, gastronomy and discovering new countries. We have a cat, Etoile, which you will need to feed during your stay with us. She is very nice but a bit wild. We also have two rabbits that live outside, and a goldfish. We will be very happy to help you discover Brittany.
