General Overview

Location, location, location! We're 10 minutes from a ski hill, mountain biking, hiking, and OHV trails, and just 90 minutes from two of the world's most famous national parks: Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole. And we're just 3 hours from Salt Lake City. You'll likely see deer walk through the backyard almost every day, occasionally moose, too. Nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood, you'll feel right at home, but you're only 5 minutes from a restaurant and store and just 25 minutes from Idaho Falls or Rexburg - both great medium-sized towns with food, activities, concerts, and even BYU-Idaho University.

The Space

The home itself is a custom built, gorgeous, 4 bedroom home with a great kitchen, 20 feet high ceilings, riverfront backyard, and even an indoor gym and golf simulator! Main floor master with a large ensuite, plus the 3 other bedrooms and bathrooms means this house sleeps 7 in beds, plus 2 great couches and a pull out mattress to sleep up to 10. With the private pickleball court and backyard beach on the river, there's so much to enjoy!

The master, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living, gym, garage, and office are all on the main floor. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a play room are upstairs.

Notes

We love the area and will leave you a list of amazing once in a lifetime activities for every month of the year. We'll also leave you e-bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards in the summer and cross country skis and sleds in the winter. Come enjoy!

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is a private subdivision with no through access so it's safe to ride bikes around our 1 mile enclosed haven. The neighbors are delightful and there's lots of kids to play with if you have kids. It's a quiet, peaceful place to relax or spend time with kind, helpful people.

Getting to my home

The closest airport is Idaho Falls, Idaho (IDA), 25 minute drive, or Salt Lake City, Utah (SLC) is a large international airport that's a 3 hour drive away. It's easy to find using GPS or of course I'll send directions as we make plans.

Getting Around

You'll need a car to get around. You're only 5 minutes from a gas station, restaurant and Family Dollar, but the bigger cities with more options and activities are about 25 minute drive, as is the mountains, hiking/biking trails, and lakes/ski hills/National Parks. We can leave our Nissan Pathfinder for you to use if you like. It seats 7.

Looking for Orlando, San Diego, Nauvoo, Spain, Switzerland, Caribbean (open to other ideas, too!). We are an adventurous family of 6 - 2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 aged 10 and 7. We love travel, the outdoors, and experiencing new places. My husband and I both work remotely, so we like to do home exchanges from 1 week throughout the year up to 2 months in the summer! I love to clean and my husband and kids are very conscientious. We love getting the "real life" experience of staying in people's homes and seeing where/how locals live.
