General overview
Hello PLU (my listing is #9732) new to the group. We would love to HOSPITALITY host a couple in our home in Canyon Hills master planned community in Lake Elsinore, CA to couples who would like to visit Southern California. Our home is on top of a hill, nestled between hills that overlook the City of Canyon Lake. It is also a 10 minute drive to Lake Elsinore.
The space
Our home is what we like to call a modern urban eclectic home. It is very urban, colorful, whimsical, and makes us feel happy. Hopefully it does the same for our guests.
It is 3,000 sq feet in size with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, formal dinning area, formal living room, family room, another dinning room, big gourmet kitchen, an upstairs loft with a balcony, a outdoor covered patio with a huge seating area, outdoor dinning table, sun loungers, glass fire pit, outdoor bbq, beer fridge, and 45ft lap style pool with two waterfalls.
From our home you have many beaches, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Orange County, San Diego, Dineyland, Universal Studios, Big Bear Lake Mountain (snow), many Casinos, all the way to the beautiful Temecula Vineyard Valley (with over 48 award winning wineries) from minutes to an hour and a half drive from our front door to visit.
Our house is modest in size, but has all the resort like amenities needed. Our guest can also use the three different private community pools, tennis courts, trials, mountain biking, hiking, and sport parks we have access to in our community or they can just BBQ and relax in our backyard pool. There are also two golf courses minutes from our home as well.
We are open to exchange HOSPITALITY hosting in different places. We are very easy going and friendly people. We are also open to pickup up guests and take them around if they would like during their stay with us.
Lake Elsinore's city motto is "Dream Extreme" because it hosts extreme sports from sky diving, Balloon rides, motto cross, race boat driving, fishing, etc... I am new to the HOSPITALITY hosting, but we have heard great things about the experience and have a chance to see places and meet people we would not normally meet or see different parts of the world.

Notes
We only accept hospitality stays as we will always be at home for exchangers. We also only seek hospitality stays and are ok if it's a big or small family hosting us as long as we have a private bedroom.
We are a family of four in our household. It's my wife, son (23 yrs old and at work most of the time), my mother (lives with us), and myself. We are a very friendly family and love to socialize with people.
When we travel it will just be my wife and myself traveling.
The exchange couple will stay in our guest bedroom, have access to their own restroom during their stay, and their personal loft/tv room with a little balcony if they want more privacy.
We can host full time during your stay, from driving, cooking (I been known to grill great steaks, seafood and prepare gourmet meals, lol), or just give our input on destination and recommendations depending on the type of vacation your looking to have. We are open to discussion for any specific needs the HOSPITALITY exchangers need when visiting.
We lived the Los Angeles city life for 45 years and are very familiar with pretty much everything Southern California has to offer. I retired 6 years ago, thus the move to our current home, but we are still very close to everything.
