Neighbourhood

The city is criss-crossed with pedestrian "paths" which allow for lovely walks. A bike path allows you to go to Versailles passing through fields by bike or on foot for good walkers. For shopping enthusiasts, we are a few minutes walk from a large shopping center (Plaisir) and One Nation (outlet). Many sports facilities accessible on foot: basketball courts, football pitches, skate park, children's play areas, outdoor swimming pool (in summer)... Notice to gourmets: Every Wednesday and Saturday morning, a market takes place in the town center where you can buy bread, cheese, meat, homemade dishes and of course fresh vegetables and fruit. Want to go see the sea? Villepreux is less than 2 hours from Deauville, a coastal town on the Côte Fleurie, in the French region of Normandy. A luxury vacation destination since the 1800s, it's known for its grand casino, golf courses, horse racing and American Film Festival. Its large sandy beach is bordered by Les Planches, a famous promenade dating back to the 1920s with its beach huts. The town features chic boutiques, elegant Belle Époque-style villas and half-timbered buildings.

Close to the train (line L) which goes to Versailles (15min) and Paris Montparnasse in center of Paris in 30min. It is served in correspondence by the TGV, main line trains to the west, Air France shuttles as well as buses 28, 58, 82, 89, 91, 92, 94, 95 and 96.
