General overview

The home was built to maximize the canyon views and phenomenal vistas can be seen from every room. The views are equally stunning no matter if you are relaxing in the front Rancho or at the back gorgeous, poolside area and terrace. Your stay here in our Paradise is guaranteed to be one of your most treasured vacation experiences. Simply Amazing!
The space
The beautiful entrance invites you into an open concept living and dining area great for entertaining. A spacious gourmet kitchen with convenient breakfast bar is situated to take advantage of the VIEWS of both sides of the Canyon. The kitchen has Granite countertops and beautiful handmade Red Cedar wood cabinetry with lots of storage space. Two sets of Large wooden sliding doors off the spacious living room lead to an oversized covered terrace with spectacular views over the Central Valley and the Town of Atenas.
The master suite is spacious with access to the patio and pool. The bathroom has a vanity with tropical design double sinks, a terrazzo soaking tub, separate shower, and separate toilet room with extra single sink. High vaulted wooden ceilings in the living and dining area separates the master from the three other bedrooms, offering privacy and space, all accompanied by large oversized glass windows makes this home unique.

Neighbourhood
Our gated neighborhood consist of 24 homes and is very safe. Most of our neighbors are expats from many different locations. It is a 5 minute car ride or a 30 minute downhill walk to Atenas. Atenas is unique. For a small town it has many good restaurants and lots of shopping. National Geographic magazine called Atenas the best climate in the world.
Atenas is centrally located. Jaco beach is a little over an hour. San Jose is an hour. La Paz( waterfalls and zoo) is 90 minutes. There are also canopy tours available within 90 minutes. Los Chorros is two beautiful waterfalls that are 45 minutes away and an easy hike and you can wade the water to them. Animal Rescue of Costa Rica has two locations both within 30 minutes of the house. And the airport is only 30 minutes from the house. If you need transportation there is a local company here in Atenas that is excellent.
Getting to my home
Taxis are readily available as well as private drivers and tour companies.

The San Jose airport is only 30 minutes away.
