We just completed our first home exchange ever! My mother-in-law lives in the house we have up for exchange and she is somewhat particular. Prepping for the (non-reciprocal) exchange itself was a bit anxiety inducing, but it went smoothly overall. Our guests left the house in immaculate shape and even left us a sweet parting gift/note. My mother-in-law was thoroughly impressed with our guests and this whole "new-to-us" concept. Looking forward to doing this again and meeting new friends along the way.

We have been doing home exchanges since 2017. Ever since we were founding members of PLU, we can say: Home exchange is so much more than home swapping on this wonderful platform. For us, PLU means a big family! We help each other, meet - so many friendships have already developed! Thank you Drew for your wonderful work!

PLU is as much a global family as it is a home exchange site. Other members feel like friends, especially the ones we have exchanged with. Members care about each other's welfare and we even have a Secret Santa at Christmas!
