To us home exchange offers the best of two worlds: Visiting new places combined with the cosiness of a real home instead of a hotel. We have visited areas that are less touristic and some of those are among our best holiday experiences.

    Totally addicted to the PLU. We love this home exchange site, we have found the spirit we dreamed of. Because of Covid, our first exchanges were cancelled or postponed but now we have had the most incredible experiences with PLU, not only exchanging our homes but meeting wonderful people, sharing the incredible pleasure of sharing our lives, feeling at home thanks to the welcoming kindness of our partners, whom we can now consider friends. Exchanging with PLU is not just a home exchange, it is a very rich human experience. We can't wait for our next exchanges! three on the track, almost four! So: go for it and enjoy!!

    I wish I had found out about PLU sooner! It has allowed me to not only dream of travel, but to actually experience places I wouldn't have thought about before. The members are so friendly and the Administrator, Drew Seitam, responds quickly to questions or any user problems you may have. It's also fun to be a part of the Facebook group where you are in conversations with people from all over the world and get the scoop on where the locals recommend that you go to for sites and food.

    PLU's founder Drew, has created a community of like-minded people that works for the individual member and the group. We have witnessed its growth over the last couple of years and are amazed at the caring attitude of its members. So many times, when help has been needed for various scenarios, the Facebook page is alight with suggestions and offers; and most often a solution is found. Drew has also been consultative and responsive, adapting the website and adding features that make it easier and more efficient to use. We are happy to be part of this group!

    I write my testimony in Italian because unfortunately in Italy traveling by exchanging houses is still a little-known way of travelling, but believe me it is fantastic: you visit places you would never have visited, far from tourist destinations, you are guests in houses full of comforts, you meet people welcoming from all over the world and they often stay in contact with you over time, you save money and sometimes even exchanging the car is very convenient, there is always someone at your house to water your plants or feed your animal friends. Of all the communities I signed up for, this is undoubtedly the best, super organized and full of nice people!
