Totally addicted to the PLU. We love this home exchange site, we have found the spirit we dreamed of. Because of Covid, our first exchanges were cancelled or postponed but now we have had the most incredible experiences with PLU, not only exchanging our homes but meeting wonderful people, sharing the incredible pleasure of sharing our lives, feeling at home thanks to the welcoming kindness of our partners, whom we can now consider friends. Exchanging with PLU is not just a home exchange, it is a very rich human experience. We can't wait for our next exchanges! three on the track, almost four! So: go for it and enjoy!!

We have been exchanging our house for 8 years now. We have done over 90 exchanges and they have all been great, some have been unbelievable. So for example just this last summer we did three exchanges back to back with a three story flat in London, a super central really cool apartment in Budapest and an unbelievable Swiss chalet in a small town with stunning views from literally every window. We were gone for three weeks and we had one night in a hotel so out total cost of lodging in that time was $170 US. In other words home exchange gave us a super long trip for basically nothing. Along the way we lived like locals, went to places out hosts recommended that were off the beaten track, made new friends and had the time of our lives. And that was only one trip! They are all like that in one form or another. There is really no better way to travel.

This platform is the most supportive travel community I have ever experienced. Exchanging your home is a very personal decision but PLU makes it easy, comfortable, and exciting. Home exchanging is a wonderful way to travel and live like locals in any part of the world. The best part is the friends you make while exploring each other’s favorite places.

People like us is more than a home exchange website. It's a real community. The facebook site is very active and other active members really feels like your friend even though you never met them. We are here for each other, helping out when ever we can.

WE HAVE KNOWN MANY PLACES THANKS TO THE EXCHANGE AND WE HAVE RECEIVED WONDERFUL PEOPLE IN OUR HOMES. WE ARE NOT YET VERY ACTIVE ON THIS PAGE, WE DO NOT MASTER IT, I AM SORRY THAT I CANNOT RESPOND QUICKLY TO MESSAGES BECAUSE OF THIS DIFFICULTY, BECAUSE IT IS DIFFICULT FOR ME TO TRANSLATE. People Like Us is an amazing platform with warm, open minded and hearted people. The platform is lead by a very kind man who is open to ideas and really listens to the platform users. Therefore it is more like a community than a basic platform. We have had several exchanges through People Like Us who have all been wonderful. We have made friends for life here and I am very glad to be a part of this great platform. I would recommended it anyone!
