Just completed our first exchange and we are hooked! I had looked into it for years but never felt fully comfortable until connecting with members on PLU. We were excited to become Founding members as soon as the option was available! Its money well spent! We already recouped the expense of the 3 yr membership with our one exchange! We could have not found a hotel room for the night for what we spent. We are so thankful to Drew and all the wonderful people who have built this special community!

I wish I had found out about PLU sooner! It has allowed me to not only dream of travel, but to actually experience places I wouldn't have thought about before. The members are so friendly and the Administrator, Drew Seitam, responds quickly to questions or any user problems you may have. It's also fun to be a part of the Facebook group where you are in conversations with people from all over the world and get the scoop on where the locals recommend that you go to for sites and food.

I write my testimony in Italian because unfortunately in Italy traveling by exchanging houses is still a little-known way of travelling, but believe me it is fantastic: you visit places you would never have visited, far from tourist destinations, you are guests in houses full of comforts, you meet people welcoming from all over the world and they often stay in contact with you over time, you save money and sometimes even exchanging the car is very convenient, there is always someone at your house to water your plants or feed your animal friends. Of all the communities I signed up for, this is undoubtedly the best, super organized and full of nice people!

People Like Us is so much more than just an exchange platform - it’s a community. Not only have we found exciting exchange destinations and fantastic homes and locations, but also made new friends across the globe. And we constantly learn more about other countries, customs, local food, handcraft, languages and so much more through the lively Facebook feed. It has given an international touch to our everyday life!

People Like Us is more than just a home swapping website - we love feeling part of a community that offers opportunities to make meaningful connections with people around the world.
