I thoroughly enjoy the sense of community and the friendly Facebook group and website. Drew has done a great job at creating a friendly place where travel dreams can come true. There's a whole world to discover! I'm delighted to say I'm building my exchange history now and it only makes me hungry for more. I'm so happy I discovered this style of travel.

I write my testimony in Italian because unfortunately in Italy traveling by exchanging houses is still a little-known way of travelling, but believe me it is fantastic: you visit places you would never have visited, far from tourist destinations, you are guests in houses full of comforts, you meet people welcoming from all over the world and they often stay in contact with you over time, you save money and sometimes even exchanging the car is very convenient, there is always someone at your house to water your plants or feed your animal friends. Of all the communities I signed up for, this is undoubtedly the best, super organized and full of nice people!

I've never really been a "joiner" (like Groucho Marx said, "I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.") but PLU changed that. After serendipitously coming across their Facebook page and joining just to see what it was, I loved these people! Adventurous, trusting, fun, and friendly, they were the people I followed during Covid. When Drew (who I feel like I know personally) created a way to officially join, I joined--and I'm so glad I did!

We think this is the most inclusive and friendliest site in the world. It's like we are just waiting to meet our new best friends from around the world that we haven't had a chance to meet yet!
