We have used a number of home exchange sites over a couple of decades. PLU is now a favorite as the philosophy is one of trust and respect, values we hold dear. It will only improve as new members join.

Discovering PLU has been such a wonderful experience for us. We love the community and exchanging has completely changed the way we think about travelling. With two small children and being restricted to school holidays, travel was previously so expensive and frustrating. We love arriving at a new exchange with all the home comforts and being able to explore somewhere new. We would urge anyone on the fence to jump right in, you won’t regret it.

The website is constantly upgraded with added features and functionality to make it more user-friendly. The site seems to be a labor of love for the management.

I've never really been a "joiner" (like Groucho Marx said, "I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.") but PLU changed that. After serendipitously coming across their Facebook page and joining just to see what it was, I loved these people! Adventurous, trusting, fun, and friendly, they were the people I followed during Covid. When Drew (who I feel like I know personally) created a way to officially join, I joined--and I'm so glad I did!

So far all my experiences with PLU have been fantastic. I can’t stress enough how glad I am to be a member of this community. I’ve made friends and had amazing exchanges. Even the website is easy to maneuver.

I am so impressed about this community and the authentic travel experiences PLU offers. Love how much thought and care that goes in to each swop and the preparations made my the hosts to make the guest stay as warm and unique as possible. I cannot wait to welcome other PLU's to our home and look very much forward to doing more exchanges
