Neighbourhood
We feel blessed to live in this beautiful, peaceful, rural area in East Clare - near Lough Derg and the River Shannon. Although it’s quiet, we are near main routes and are centrally located to easily reach all amenities.
There are many picturesque & historical or touristic places nearby including Inis Cealtra, Killaloe, Cragganowen, Bunratty Castle, Cliffs of Moher, the Burren National Park etc etc.
This region is much loved by tourists and very well renowned for it’s friendly people and Traditional Irish music. There is plenty ‘craic agus ceol’ (fun & music) to be found in the local pubs.
In the area, there are lovely hikes, walks and trails for hillwalking and plenty places for swimming and water sports. If you enjoy cycling, you are welcome to use our bicycles - one of which is an ebike.
We are also convenient to a number of golf courses - East Clare Golf Club (5mins); Dromoland Castle (20mins) etc. The 2027 Ryder Cup will be held at Adare Manor which is 45mins drive away.

Getting Around
The nearest village (with supermarket, takeaway restaurants, some small shops, pubs, chemist, doctor, library etc ) is 5mins drive.
The nearest large town is Ennis which is the main town of this county and is a popular tourist destination in its own right.
