General Overview
Our house is located in a residential neighborhood that has the advantage of being close to Vedado (20 minutes walking) and at the same time enjoying the tranquility of a small neighborhood.
The Space
The house has two floors that offer a comfortable and versatile environment.
On the ground floor, you will find:
Portal: An entrance space that invites you to relax.
Living room: Ideal for resting and socializing.
Dining room: Perfect for enjoying family meals.
Kitchen: Equipped to prepare delicious meals.
Bathroom: Conveniently located for comfort.
Laundry room: Equipped with automatic washing machine, closet and cleaning utensils.
On the upper floor, there are:
Three bedrooms:
Two bedrooms ready to rest. The master bedroom has air conditioning, while the second has a fan, ideal for the Cuban summer.
The third bedroom is the most versatile room in the house. It has been fitted out as a TV room and has a projector for films and music CDs and films. It also serves as Ama's small pottery workshop, where she can indulge in her creative hobby. There you will also find snorkeling gear in various sizes.
Bathroom: Complete, with bathtub and closets where towels are located.
Terrace: A space where we usually hang our laundry.
Library: A special corner that contains Cuban editions of books, perfect for lovers of reading and local culture.
Guest Access
The entrance to the house is via five steps. Inside, between the first and second floors there is a staircase that gives access to the rooms (as shown in the photos).

Neighbourhood
Nuevo Vedado is known for its tranquil atmosphere, which contrasts with that of the city center. This makes it an ideal place for travelers looking to escape the frenetic pace and experience the authenticity of neighborhood life.
Nuevo Vedado is an open-air museum of modern Cuban architecture. The houses and buildings were built between the 1950s and 1960s.
The neighborhood is located in the western part of Havana, near the Almendares River. In Nuevo Vedado there are several tourist attractions in the city: the Havana Forest (ideal for walks and outdoor activities), the Plaza de la Revolución (one of the most emblematic places in Havana), the Acapulco cinema (a few steps from our house) and the Havana Zoo (the oldest in the country). The Cuban Art Factory, although it does not belong to NV, is located nearby and is a meeting point for artists, art and music lovers.
Getting to my home
The best way to get to the house is by taxi. Taxis are always available at the airport. There is also a bus that runs through the city and at a lower price.
Nearest airport
Havana International Airport is a 30-minute drive from the house.
Getting Around
In the surroundings of our house we have several businesses that we Cubans call bodegones and they would be the equivalent of small supermarkets. Basic products are usually found in them, especially food.
In addition, there are two agricultural markets within walking distance. In them, you can find fruits, vegetables and root vegetables, always in season.
