Our house is located in between Cologne and the Eifel woods, very close to Bonn. It offers the opportunity to either discover the larger cities of Cologne, Bonn, Aachen and Koblenz or to enjoy the picturesque, quiet places in the Eifel or Ahr valley. We built our house 7 years ago and love living here because it is big, modern and cozy. Also Belgium and the Netherlands are less than an hour away by car. Thus our guests stay in the middle of Europe and can easily gather many new experiences. We hope that our guests feel as comfortable here as we do.

On the ground floor we have an open living and dining room with a large, comfortable sofa and TV with Netflix & Amazon Prime Video. In the open kitchen you will find everything you need: a large side-by-side refrigerator, separate wine refrigerator, oven with steamer, AirFryer, etc. We ask our guests to feel at home and, of course, take advantage of all kitchen equippment as well as vinegar, oil, spices, etc. On the upper floor we have 4 bedrooms: The master bedroom with a 1.80m bed and its own bathroom. The boys' two rooms each have a 1.40m bed and an additional bathroom. And our guest room holds a pull-out bed measuring 1.60m in total. We recently renovated the children's rooms and the living room (October 2024) Our boys are now 17 & 13 years old, but we still have enough toys and board games that we are happy to provide.

We offer a code based access to our house so that guests don't need to use keys. The car can be parked in front of the house on our property. For electric cars we offer a wall box which is run by our solar system on the roof.

In spring and summer we like to be on the terrace and love to sit there, have breakfast or have a barbecue with friends. There you will find a large gas grill, garden furniture, parasol and a comfortable lounge. Our guests can use our 4 bicycles as well as our second car (Mini Countryman, by arrangement); and in the case of an exchange to overseas (USA, Canada, Mexico etc.) our VW Tiguan is also possible if we can also use a car in return -

The very good infrastructure connection (A61/A1/A565) allows you to quickly reach the Eifel or the larger cities nearby. In our village you can easily reach everything in walking or bicykle distance. Due to good infrastructure guests can also use bus and/or railway in order to get to the Cologne and Bonn as well as the airport.
