Panoramica generale

Our home is recently renovated, clean tidy and spacious. it has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 living spaces and well appointed kitchen and seperate office. It is on a hill behind town, walking distance to shops and although there are lots of homes near by, it feels peaceful and private with views or the farm behind. 
I am house proud  and will make sure it is pristine for your stay. That being said it is a family home and we want you to feel comfortable here.

Lo spazio

This is a spacious family home with 3 living spaces, a dining room, an office, and 4 bedrooms. the large master suite has a huge ensuite with a bath and a king-size bed. The 3 other rooms are close to the family bathroom., One room with a queen bed, one with a double, and one with a single bed and trundle. Other features include lock-up garage, central heating, cooling and a gas fireplace. 
outdoors is a small basketball court, a Plunge pool, that is gas heated so can be used throughout the seasons and a sunken entertaining/ fire pit area. there is also a lawn for the kids to play and lots of enclosed space to enjoy. 
We live in a town so are lucky enough to be within walking distance to the shops, cafes,  restaurants and train station.

There are 3 ways into the home, one is relatively flat with just one step to get in, best access for wheelchairs or strollers. The front door entrance does have a few steps to enter

Our cars will be here, we would also consider the lending of one of the cars during the exchange and would also consider leaving it at the airport for guests to use as transport home if doing a simultaneous swap. We are open to lots of negotiations. 
We are also considering getting a caravan to travel around the country in so would also consider that in the swap if interested and available. 
We also have friends with holiday homes in some of the most delightful countryside in the state that too might be able to be utilized at the time of the swap. We want you to get the most out of the exchange!

Quartiere

Beaconsfield is a lovely safe community, between Beaconsfield and  neighbouring suburb Berwick you will find lots of delicious cafes and restaurants and be less than a Kilometer to the train station. there are beautiful bush walks from the end of the road where you will hear the sounds of bellbirds and maybe even see a Kangaroo or Koala in the trees.
You will be 20 minutes from the Dandenong rangers. 20 minutes to the closest beach. 45 minutes to Melbourne CBD. 1 hour to Phillip Island and the famous penguin parade, Seals cove, and surf beaches. You will be 40minutes  from the brand new Gumbya World theme park, 50 minutes from the Yarra Valley Wine region and 2 hours away from the magnificent Wilsons Promontory National Park, just to name a few of my favorite places. :)

Arrivare a casa mia

you will fly into Tullamarine Airport in Melbourne and take the air shuttle to the CBD and a train to Beaconsfield. or catch a Taxi or potentially pick up our car from the airport parking. 
The drive can be well over an hour in peak times, so the amount of joy driving will bring would depend on the time of the flights

Use of our car will help get you around the larger area

Ciao, sono Shanae, sono un'infermiera e un'ostetrica con diplomi post-laurea in salute della famiglia e dei bambini. Mio marito Marc gestisce un'azienda di appalti elettrici.
Abbiamo 3 bellissimi bambini di 11 anni, 10 anni e 6 bambini. Sono tutti molto sportivi e con un papà inglese, i miei ragazzi sono pazzi per il calcio!
Alla domanda su dove vorrebbero andare di più nel mondo, hanno risposto in Inghilterra perché vogliono vedere il calcio! Quando gli è stato chiesto se volevano andare al Soccer oa Disneyland, hanno comunque scelto il calcio!!
Questo mi va bene perché ho vissuto a Londra nei miei primi 20 anni e saranno 20 anni, l'anno prossimo da quando sono partito per quell'avventura e riflettere su questo mi rende molto nostalgico e desideroso di tornare indietro.
Di recente ho saputo degli scambi di casa e ho pensato che sarebbe stato il modo perfetto per vedere quanto più mondo possibile, condividendo la nostra bella casa con alcuni di voi. Sono entusiasta di condividere la nostra parte del mondo e aiutarti a sfruttare al meglio tutte le meraviglie che abbiamo qui a Melbourne e in tutto il Victoria :)

Ci piacerebbe iniziare il nostro stile di vita di scambio di casa, l'anno prossimo, con una famiglia nel Regno Unito, a Londra e dintorni, ma siamo davvero aperti a qualsiasi parte del mondo! Idealmente saremmo rimasti durante le vacanze scolastiche di Pasqua o di settembre per 3-6 settimane, ma saremmo anche entusiasti di venire nell'inverno europeo in modo da poter vivere l'Australia in estate!
