Algemeen overzicht

Our home is recently renovated, clean tidy and spacious. it has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 living spaces and well appointed kitchen and seperate office. It is on a hill behind town, walking distance to shops and although there are lots of homes near by, it feels peaceful and private with views or the farm behind. 
I am house proud  and will make sure it is pristine for your stay. That being said it is a family home and we want you to feel comfortable here.

De ruimte

This is a spacious family home with 3 living spaces, a dining room, an office, and 4 bedrooms. the large master suite has a huge ensuite with a bath and a king-size bed. The 3 other rooms are close to the family bathroom., One room with a queen bed, one with a double, and one with a single bed and trundle. Other features include lock-up garage, central heating, cooling and a gas fireplace. 
outdoors is a small basketball court, a Plunge pool, that is gas heated so can be used throughout the seasons and a sunken entertaining/ fire pit area. there is also a lawn for the kids to play and lots of enclosed space to enjoy. 
We live in a town so are lucky enough to be within walking distance to the shops, cafes,  restaurants and train station.

There are 3 ways into the home, one is relatively flat with just one step to get in, best access for wheelchairs or strollers. The front door entrance does have a few steps to enter

Our cars will be here, we would also consider the lending of one of the cars during the exchange and would also consider leaving it at the airport for guests to use as transport home if doing a simultaneous swap. We are open to lots of negotiations. 
We are also considering getting a caravan to travel around the country in so would also consider that in the swap if interested and available. 
We also have friends with holiday homes in some of the most delightful countryside in the state that too might be able to be utilized at the time of the swap. We want you to get the most out of the exchange!

Omgeving

Beaconsfield is a lovely safe community, between Beaconsfield and  neighbouring suburb Berwick you will find lots of delicious cafes and restaurants and be less than a Kilometer to the train station. there are beautiful bush walks from the end of the road where you will hear the sounds of bellbirds and maybe even see a Kangaroo or Koala in the trees.
You will be 20 minutes from the Dandenong rangers. 20 minutes to the closest beach. 45 minutes to Melbourne CBD. 1 hour to Phillip Island and the famous penguin parade, Seals cove, and surf beaches. You will be 40minutes  from the brand new Gumbya World theme park, 50 minutes from the Yarra Valley Wine region and 2 hours away from the magnificent Wilsons Promontory National Park, just to name a few of my favorite places. :)

Naar mijn huis gaan

you will fly into Tullamarine Airport in Melbourne and take the air shuttle to the CBD and a train to Beaconsfield. or catch a Taxi or potentially pick up our car from the airport parking. 
The drive can be well over an hour in peak times, so the amount of joy driving will bring would depend on the time of the flights

Hallo, ik ben Shanae, ik ben verpleegster en vroedvrouw met postdoctorale diploma's in de gezondheid van het gezin en kinderen. Mijn man Marc heeft een elektrotechnisch bedrijf.
We hebben 3 prachtige kinderen, jongen 11, meisje 10 en kleine jongen 6. Ze zijn allemaal erg sportief en met een Britse vader zijn mijn jongens voetbalgek!
Op de vraag waar ze het liefst naar toe zouden willen in de wereld, zeiden ze Engeland omdat ze de Soccer! Op de vraag of ze naar het voetbal of Disneyland wilden, kozen ze toch voor voetbal!!
Dit past bij mij omdat ik begin twintig in Londen woonde en het zal volgend jaar 20 jaar zijn sinds ik aan dat avontuur ben vertrokken en als ik hierover nadenk, word ik erg nostalgisch en wanhopig om terug te gaan.
Ik hoorde onlangs over huizenruil en dacht dat dit de perfecte manier zou zijn om zoveel mogelijk van de wereld te zien, terwijl we ons mooie huis met sommigen van jullie delen. Ik ben opgewonden om ons deel van de wereld te delen en je te helpen het meeste te halen uit alle wonderen die we hier in Melbourne en in heel Victoria hebben :)

We zouden graag ergens volgend jaar onze huizenruillevensstijl beginnen met een gezin in het VK, Londen en omgeving, maar we staan echt open voor overal ter wereld! We zouden idealiter 3-6 weken in de schoolvakantie van Pasen of september blijven, maar we zouden ook heel blij zijn om in de Europese winter te komen, zodat je Australië in de zomer kunt ervaren!
