Mentors are cycled through one by one. When a new starter requests a Mentor, the next available Mentor is asked if they will be the Mentor for this new Buddy and an email is sent. As a Mentor, you have 24 hours to respond and send a welcome message. If you don't respond in that time, the request will be cancelled and the next Mentor will be selected, and you'll go back in the queue. We understand you can't always get to a request inside 24 hours so please don't worry. We don't want to put pressure on you. We just know that new starters are most keen when they start and most likely to become Premium if we engage with them and answer them quickly.
