Neighbourhood

On property within our gated community: * clay tennis courts * open air/ocean view yoga studio * onsite restaurant/bar/infinity pool with some of the best food and views in the area

Getting around

You will definitely need a car to properly explore Guanacaste. A SUV is preferable (higher clearance) but not completely necessary depending on where you plan to go and depending on the season (rainy or dry seasons). Our immediate area is 95% paved roads in good condition (again, depending on the season as pot holes seem to form overnight) but you might feel more comfortable with a 4X4 if traveling to more remote areas. You can always book private transport to more remote locations if needed as well. *There are no Uber/ride shares in the area.

Elizabeth

We are a family of four US citizens who have made a new home in Costa Rica since 2019. Elizabeth, a former spa owner, and Dave, a corporate attorney able to work remotely, and our two pre-teen/teen children (one piano/tennis player and one fitness/Fortnite enthusiast). We are taking 14 months to travel the world. We love to explore both cities and more remote locations and try all of the local foods wherever we go.
