General Overview

Welcome to our newly remodeled home in Millbrae, California. We have just completed a full renovation of the entire house, creating a comfortable, modern space designed for both relaxing and enjoying time together. We are still hanging artwork and working on the backyard, but are excited to share our home with others!

The Space

The home features 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, along with a dedicated home gym. The main living space has an open-concept layout, connecting the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen features high-end Thermador appliances and is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining. The primary suite includes a king-size bed and its own private deck. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and opens onto another private deck. The third bedroom also has a queen-size bed. All three bedrooms have been thoughtfully furnished to provide a comfortable place to unwind. One of the highlights of the home is the large deck just off the living room. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in lots of natural light and offer beautiful views stretching toward the East Bay and San Francisco International Airport. It’s a wonderful spot for morning coffee, an afternoon break, or an evening drink while watching the activity in the distance. We’ve also completed new landscaping in the front of the property. The backyard is currently being landscaped, with anticipated completion by the end of the year.

Neighbourhood

Our home is in Millbrae Meadows, a quiet residential neighborhood in Millbrae on the San Francisco Peninsula. It’s a wonderful home base for exploring the Bay Area, with the feel of a peaceful neighborhood while being close to San Francisco, the coast, and Silicon Valley. San Francisco International Airport is just a short drive away, making the house especially convenient for visitors arriving by air. San Francisco is also easily accessible, whether you’re heading into the city for a day of sightseeing, restaurants, museums, or exploring the waterfront. For those who love the outdoors, the Pacific coast is a short 15 minute drive. Nearby Pacifica is a great destination for coastal walks, beaches, hiking, and seasonal whale watching, with opportunities to spot migrating whales and other marine life along the coastline. The dramatic Pacifica coastline is a wonderful contrast to the more urban experiences of San Francisco. Millbrae also puts you within easy reach of the many communities and attractions of the Peninsula, as well as Silicon Valley to the south. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, parks, and outdoor spaces nearby, while the location makes it easy to venture farther afield for day trips around the Bay Area, Napa/Sonoma and all of Northern California. We love the location because it offers the best of both worlds: a quiet neighborhood setting with beautiful Bay Area views, while being conveniently located for exploring San Francisco, Pacifica and the Pacific coast, SFO, the Peninsula, and Silicon Valley.
