We want to share our small slice of paradise with others!

Embrace the historic charm of our apartment in the heart of Lisbon's historic center. The residence features wooden floors, mid-century modern furniture and decor, exposed architectural beams, splashes of colour, a variety of motifs, and a balcony. It includes air conditioning, heating, endless hot water, and PLENTY of natural light.

The Space

The apartment is located in the area where the annual Santos Populares festivals take place during the month of June. Please be aware that this area can be quite busy and noise can be expected!

It’s situated on a narrow street where cars can’t reach the front door, and the nearest drop-off point is about 70 meters away.

￫ Building
The apartment is situated on the first floor of a building without an elevator in the historic center of Lisbon.

￫ Bedrooms
The apartment features two bedrooms, one with a double bed (air conditioning) and the other with a double bed that can be converted into a single bed OR used as an office/lounge.

￫ Living Room
The living room has a vintage decor and is equipped with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning.

￫ Bathroom
The apartment has a bathroom with a shower.

￫ Kitchen
Equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, microwave, four-burner stove, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine (coffee not included), washing machine, and iron.

Guest Access

It's on the first floor. There are narrow corridors and a passage with a low ceiling, so we recommend it for people under six feet tall and not obese. But all are welcome :)

One of the best neighbourhoods in the best city. You will looooove our area. That's a promise. You'll be within a ten minute walk of EVERYTHING. You name it. This is an absolute gem of an area.

Getting to my home

You can take the subway from the airport to near the apartment. Or an uber/taxi. The whole city is walkable - but there are seven hills in Lisbon. Be aware ;)

Olivia and her mom were wonderful home exchange guests. They took excellent care of my home and treated it with the same respect and care they would their own. They also looked after Felix the cat wonderfully and even bought him a few new toys, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Communication was easy throughout the exchange, and everything was left in excellent condition. I would welcome them back without hesitation and highly recommend them to anyone considering a home exchange.

I am an engineer and artist, who loves making things. I enjoy exploring the world and bringing ideas to life. Thoughtful, considerate, and well organized, I try to leave a bit of joy everywhere I go.

My partner is a writer and will be traveling with me. He is friendly and caring. We live a peaceful life where he writes each morning, and we enjoy cafe hopping, thrift stores, sports like yoga and climbing, and spotting cool architecture. He has a young daughter, who occasionally travels with us.

I also sometimes travel with my mother. She is a retired postal worker and loves walking, and taking care of animals. We both enjoy sightseeing, reading books and going to bed early. We would love to go swimming nearby, or explore local bakeries to try sweet treats.
