General Overview

My home is a one bedroom loft in the heart of St-Henri, one of Montréal’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Nearby you will find parks, bike paths, and the beautiful Lachine Canal. Spend your days exploring local cafés, visiting Atwater Market, or discovering different neighborhoods with easy metro and transit access.
In the summer, the building has a pool and a rooftop terrace with a BBQ. The apartment has air conditioning to keep you cool, along with high speed Wi-Fi and a desk for anyone working remotely. The heating system is also very efficient, for visitors during colder months.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, and there is in-unit laundry.
The apartment also has excellent soundproofing, so you can sleep soundly at night. All in all, it is a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

The Space

The space is a loft, so everything except the bathroom is an open plan. It has high ceilings and beautiful tall windows, which make it feel spacious.

It is located on the 4th floor. There is the option of using the elevator, or indoor or outdoor staircase.

Neighbourhood

St Henri neighborhood is trendy, and offers many delicious restaurants for foodies. There's a number of charming cafes within walking distance, as well as a beautiful fountain in Square Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier nearby. There's lots of bike paths for any fans of cycling. Trendy bars are also within walking distance for anyone wishing to explore the nightlife.

Getting to my home

You can easily access my home via the 747 bus from the airport. It is very cheap and convenient - about a 7 minute walk. Otherwise, a taxi or uber is also inexpensive as the airport is not too far away (20-30 minutes depening on traffic).

Nearest airport

The Montreal Pierre-Elliot Trudeau airport is about 20-30 minutes away by car. There is also a bus line directly from the airport which takes you a few blocks away from the apartment.

Getting Around

The apartment is located near two metro lines, so getting around is a breeze. There is also lots within walking distance. For travel by car, the nearest highway exit is only a few blocks away.

We spent a very nice long weekend at Olivia and Josh's place. The apartment is ideally located in Saint-Henri, a lively and pleasant neighborhood, close to downtown while being away from the most touristy areas. We appreciated the ease of parking on the street. The apartment is bright, impeccably clean and tastefully furnished. You can feel a soft and warm personality, right down to the small decorative details and lighting, which make the space particularly welcoming. Everything is well thought out, practical and comfortable. Communication before and during the stay was easy and pleasant. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to have the opportunity to come back one day. Beyond the quality of the apartment, it is the feeling of having been welcomed with generosity and trust that will remain a good memory.

Olivia’s apartment was a true gem! I stayed here and had a wonderful week. It was perfectly located between two Metro stations, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere in Montreal. A 7-day unlimited Metro pass cost just $32 CAD, which made exploring the city both convenient and affordable. The IGA grocery store was only about a five-minute walk away, and Atwater Market was just a 10-minute walk, offering marinated meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, cheeses, wines, pastries, and more. The apartment itself was comfortable, well air-conditioned, and located in a very safe neighborhood. If you’re planning a visit to Montreal, I highly recommend staying here. The city has so much to offer, and Olivia’s apartment is the perfect home base for experiencing it all.

We're Olivia and Josh, a creative couple who love exploring the world, making things, and finding joy in the little details of everyday life.

Olivia is an engineer who loves bringing ideas to life, while Josh is a writer who spends his mornings working on stories. We live a fairly peaceful life and enjoy café hopping, thrift stores, yoga, climbing, and spotting interesting architecture. We're friendly, thoughtful, considerate, and well-organized, and always aim to leave places a little better than we found them.

Josh has a young daughter who occasionally joins us on our adventures!

Sometimes we travel separately, too. Olivia occasionally travels with her mother, a retired postal worker who loves walking and caring for animals. They enjoy sightseeing, reading, early nights, swimming, and discovering local bakeries and sweet treats.
