General Overview

My home is a one bedroom loft in the heart of St-Henri, one of Montréal’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Nearby you will find parks, bike paths, and the beautiful Lachine Canal. Spend your days exploring local cafés, visiting Atwater Market, or discovering different neighborhoods with easy metro and transit access. In the summer, the building has a pool and a rooftop terrace with a BBQ. The apartment has air conditioning to keep you cool, along with high speed Wi-Fi and a desk for anyone working remotely. The heating system is also very efficient, for visitors during colder months. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, and there is in-unit laundry. The apartment also has excellent soundproofing, so you can sleep soundly at night. All in all, it is a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

The Space

The space is a loft, so everything except the bathroom is an open plan. It has high ceilings and beautiful tall windows, which make it feel spacious.

It is located on the 4th floor. There is the option of using the elevator, or indoor or outdoor staircase.

Neighbourhood

St Henri neighborhood is trendy, and offers many delicious restaurants for foodies. There's a number of charming cafes within walking distance, as well as a beautiful fountain in Square Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier nearby. There's lots of bike paths for any fans of cycling. Trendy bars are also within walking distance for anyone wishing to explore the nightlife.

Getting to my home

You can easily access my home via the 747 bus from the airport. It is very cheap and convenient - about a 7 minute walk. Otherwise, a taxi or uber is also inexpensive as the airport is not too far away (20-30 minutes depening on traffic).

Nearest airport

The Montreal Pierre-Elliot Trudeau airport is about 20-30 minutes away by car. There is also a bus line directly from the airport which takes you a few blocks away from the apartment.

Getting Around

The apartment is located near two metro lines, so getting around is a breeze. There is also lots within walking distance. For travel by car, the nearest highway exit is only a few blocks away.

I am an engineer and artist, who loves making things. I enjoy exploring the world and bringing ideas to life. Thoughtful, considerate, and well organized, I try to leave a bit of joy everywhere I go. My partner is a writer and will be traveling with me. He is friendly and caring. We live a peaceful life where he writes each morning, and we enjoy cafe hopping, thrift stores, sports like yoga and climbing, and spotting cool architecture. He has a young daughter, who occasionally travels with us. I also sometimes travel with my mother. She is a retired postal worker and loves walking, and taking care of animals. We both enjoy sightseeing, reading books and going to bed early. We would love to go swimming nearby, or explore local bakeries to try sweet treats.
