General Overview

Large private suite located over the garage of our spacious home. Well-suited for 1-2 travelers (no pets) with a sofa and TV, a bathroom with a shower, a queen-sized bed, kitchenette with a sink and counter, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, and fridge. Ten windows bring in plenty of light. Entrance is via the garage. Most of our guests have been parents or grandparents visiting their children and grandchildren in Bend. This allows you some peace and quiet at the end of the day!

The Space

Don't need an entire house? Our private suite, a large custom paneled space above our garage is often available. Perfect for 1-2 people, no pets. The 900 square paneled foot space with custom wood floors will be your sanctuary. Within this space there is a dining table with chairs, a sofa, a TV, a counter with sink, a comfortable queen-sized bed, and a beautiful tiled bathroom with a shower. The mini-kitchen includes a sink, counter space, toaster, fridge, microwave and coffee machine. You are also welcome to use the full kitchen in our home and the washer/dryer. We may or may not be at home during your stay.

Guest Access

To enter this space, you come in through our garage or side door and up the stairs and into the vestibule then up several steps into the suite. The entrance is shown in the first picture.

Notes

We have two cats in our home but they do not utilize this space. I cannot guarantee however that there will not be any cat hair in this space. We also have rabbits outside in cages and chickens in our yard.

Neighbourhood

We are located in one of the best neighborhoods in Bend! West of the river, close to the Galveston Corridor and downtown. The Galveston Corridor has may shops and restaurants. The Newport Hub is also close by, and many services and cafes and restaurants are on Century Drive. Drive straight up Century Drive to Mt. Bachelor for snow sports, go 2 miles to Phils' Trails, mountain biking Mecca!

Getting to my home

If you fly to Bend, you can rent a car at the airport or use a taxi or Uber services to get to our home. If you're driving, we have plenty of parking for you,.

Nearest airport

The Redmond airport serving Central Oregon is 30 minutes away, the Portland Airport is 3 hours away.

Getting Around

You can walk to many places, but to go further you will need a car.
