Neighbourhood

We fell in love with this neighborhood due to the location. It is close to Boulder AND Denver and we love exploring both. No need to choose one or the other when you can live in between! It is also very walkable. The neighborhood has pretty, well-maintained homes and within a few minutes you can access the massive car-free trail system that winds its way all over Westminster and provides great mountain views. It's perfect for long walks, jogging or biking. We have several small parks within the neighborhood and a large one within a ten minute walk along the trail. We can also walk to several restaurants (5280 Burger Bar is one of our favorites), Whole Foods, yoga studio, and much more. There are also several great golf courses nearby, Legacy Ridge is the closest (about five minute drive). Other nearby places to explore: - Red Rocks Ampitheatre: 22 miles - Boulder: 16 miles - Downtown Denver: 15 miles - Estes Park: 53 miles - Denver Zoo: 16 miles - Four Noses Brewery (our current favorite, but there are many!): 4 miles

Nearest airport

Denver International Airport is 20 miles away.

Getting Around

It's best to have a car so you can easily explore but Uber/Lyft are readily available and there is a local bus stop within walking distance of our home that can connect you to larger bus and light rail (train) hubs. However, this is not Europe so it's not as cheap and efficient to use public transport, unfortunately!
