Neighbourhood

We live in a very family-friendly neighborhood that provides a lot of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. A few blocks from our house you can access a massive car-free trail system that is a favorite for walkers, joggers and bicyclists. You will also enjoy mountain views, various parks, tennis courts, and a community swimming pool (summer months). We chose to live in the city of Westminster for the easy access to both Denver and Boulder (when we first moved in we had jobs in each city so needed to be close to both). Other popular destinations that are nearby include: Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park (about 1 hour drive), Lyons (45 minute drive), Fort Collins (1 hour drive), Red Rocks Ampitheatre (30 minute drive)

Denver International Airport is a 30 minute drive from our home

Getting around

We are walkable to several restaurants/bars and grocery stores, and within a ten minute drive of pretty much anything else you might need. Uber/Lyft is easy to use to/from our house and there is a public bus system that can be used for those that don't mind using public transportation (we love it!). It's not as efficient as public transport in places like Europe but it is possible.
