General overview
Do you crave a mountain getaway with plenty of options to explore the beautiful Rocky Mountains? Partaking in outdoor activities, including downhill skiing at some of the amazing resorts that Colorado is famous for? Eating delicious food and drinking craft beer? Relaxing in a clean and comfortable mountain condo after a fun-filled day of adventuring? Then you have found the right home! Aside from skiing, other activities you can enjoy, all within a short walk or drive from our condo: Fly fish on the Blue River right outside our door (yes, that is the Blue that our deck looks out at). Take a bike ride or go for a jog/walk along the Blue River trail. Explore the unlimited hiking options a short drive away. Golf at the beautiful Raven Golf Club (open to the public). Enjoy water activities on the Dillon Reservoir. Let your kids (or spouse!) run off some energy at the large park and recreation center across the street (sledding in the winter, playing in the summer ; large indoor pool and workout facilities; there is a fee for entry to recreation center). And more!! We have set up our home-away-from-home with ultimate comfort and convenience in mind. Want to enjoy a delicious meal out? We are walking distance to multiple options, including the new Fourth Street Crossing (the heart of downtown Silverthorne). Want to cook a meal a home? We love cooking and have all the essentials you'll need to prepare a delicious meal. Want to grill some burgers? Our BBQ is connected to a propane line so you'll never run out of gas! And last but certainly not least, the salt water hot tub on our deck provides you with a relaxing soak with unbeatable views.

The space
We invite you to enjoy full access of our two bedroom, two full bathroom condo. It will comfortably sleep four. If you have a larger family additional children are welcome.
The master bedroom has a queen TempurPedic mattress, desk space, attached full bathroom with standing shower (double shower heads), double sink, and large walk-in closet.
The guest bedroom has a full over full bunkbed with an attached full bathroom with bathtub, sink, and large walk-in closet. This bathroom is also accessible via the hallway. There is also a wall-mounted smart TV with access to your streaming services or our cable channels.
A large, in-unit washer and dryer is available for use.
The dining table can seat six comfortably and the kitchen counter has two barstools for casual snacks/dining or for keeping your chef company while they cook a delicious meal!
A Sonos WiFi speaker system is available in the living room and master bedroom for streaming your favorite tunes.
The Samsung SmartTVs in the living room and guest bedroom can connect to any of your favorite streaming services or just utilize the cable service provided.
The private/covered deck offers a gas grill so you can BBQ outside while taking in the views. There is also a private 4 person, salt water hot tub, perfect for soaking your tired muscles after a long day of exploring the great outdoors!
Guests are provided exclusive access to our oversized, heated garage, where you can park your car and safely store all your gear (skis, bikes, fishing gear, etc.). You are also welcome to borrow any of the items we have stored there (bikes, scooters, sleds, cooler, etc.).
Guest access
We are situated on the second floor with no elevator access. We provide keyless entry to the public and private doors. The garage is available for your exclusive use but no garage door opener is provided so you must use the keypad to open/close the garage. We provide you with plenty of space to store your belongings, both in the garage and in our condo.
Notes
Our condo is a small complex with a mix of full-time residents and second home owners. Everyone is very friendly and takes pride in owning a place here. We ask that any guests reciprocate the friendliness and take care of our home as if it were your own. We do not allow our guests to bring their pets but please be aware we own a dog who occasionally joins us on our trip to our condo (in case you have allergy issues). Our place is professionally cleaned on an ongoing basis, including prior to your stay. We do request a payment for a professional clean upon your departure. The current rate is $150/stay and includes a full cleaning of the space and laundry of all linens.

Neighbourhood
We are situated in a prime location -- walking distance to a lot of amenities, overlooking the Blue River. This provides easy access to fun stuff but you still have the views and feeling of being tucked away in the mountains. There is SOOOO much to do in this area. If you enjoy mountain activities, you will find endless amounts of enjoyment here. Please see photos for additional details of fun things to do in the area along with distances to each (most are walking or a very short drive away).
Getting to my home
Denver International Airport (DIA) is the closest airport. Driving from the airport to our condo takes around 2 hours, depending on traffic. There are frequent and popular van rides to Silverthorne (private or shared). The most popular company is called Colorado Mountain Express. If you bring your own vehicle you will have exclusive use of our heated garage.
Extreme weather in the winter can cause delays on I-70 so we recommend providing yourself with plenty of time to reach our condo. If driving in the winter you should rent a 4WD or AWD vehicle due to snowy conditions that are likely to exist.
Nearest airport

Getting around
We are walking distance (10 minutes or less) to many restaurants, coffee shops, a brewery (Angry James), fly shop, Silverthorne Recreation Center, Rainbow Park, Fourth Street Crossing, Outlet shopping, and the Summit Stage bus station (free buses that take you all over Summit County). Having your own vehicle or using the free bus system is the easiest way to get around as Uber/Lyft are not abundant. It is possible to take the bus to the ski resorts but we usually choose to drive, in the winter at least (with kids and all the gear it is easier).
