General overview
Welcome to our little apartment on HK island! We love living here, and the ease of getting around and exploring is unlike anywhere else we have lived - within a 30-minute radius we have incredible hiking, beaches, and any designer shop you could think of! Whatever you fancy doing / seeing / eating, you won't have to go far!
The space
We can comfortably fit 4 people in our 2 bedrooms - we have one king size bed and then a child's single room with a pull-out trundle. We have a full kitchen with western over (not very common here!) and a steam oven. We straddle 2 areas which are great for exploring, Kennedy Town and HKU.
The children's room is full of books and toys that could be used to entertain little ones.
Our living and dining room and office are all in the same room! The dining table can seat 4 (5 at a push!) and we only have a small 2-seater sofa that could fit 3 adults due to the size restrictions of HK apartments!
We are teachers and don't have a spare office room so our desktop computer is set up next to the dining table. This cannot be moved anywhere else but we will leave it locked so that you cannot access it.
Guest access
24-hour security on the entry gates and at the bottom of each tower - step-free access to the apartment.
Notes
As HK apartments are so small we like to keep shoes outside on the doormat to keep it clean inside. No smoking is allowed inside as my daughter has asthma.

Neighbourhood
Kennedy Town is fantastic with so many restaurants, a bustling waterfront which leads to a 10k walk along the coastline of the harbour. Nearby we have great coffee and the largest supermarket on HK island in our complex which is so convenient!
Getting to my home
An easy 30-40 minute taxi / uber ride directly the apartment or taking the airport train to central and then a taxi or change metro line from there. Even some buses direct from airport to Kennedy Town but we have never taken it ourselves. Very straightforward and easy with several options!

Getting around
We live on a main road with so many fantastic bus connections directly to the southern beaches (Deepwater Bay, Repulse Bay, and Stanley) in 30 minutes or less. We are lucky enough to have a metro station next to us which is one of the chosen ones with step-free access via lifts. You can be in central in 15 minutes via bus, taxi, or metro so you are spoilt for choice! Taxis are a very common way to get around for sheer convenience and are not too expensive. Uber is also an option too.
