Neighbourhood

The complex is located in a safe, quiet area, the last buildings before the end of a Cul-de-Sac. The facility itself is built on a peninsula surrounded by a protected natural preserve area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Restaurants and bars are a brisk and beautiful 10-15 min walk into town where you will arrive in the up-market beach town of São Martinho do Porto. It is a very calm bay in a quiet family friendly town with plenty of restaurants and shops. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1mvQ1I20bU You can enjoy many different water sports on this protected bay: https://www.staysilvercoast.com/watersports And of course we are central to so much of the rich history in central Portugal! There are 5 UNESCO Heritage Sites within an hours drive, as well as the famous Nazare big waves and so much more to discover. And all museums in Portugal are free for ages 65+!

Nearest airport

Lisbon airport about 1:15h drive. Porto is about 2 hours drive.

Getting Around

Sao Martinho is a small town, and easy to drive around, but you might prefer enjoying a walk with the ocean breezes. Shops are about 10-15 min walk. Great seafood restaurants are 8-10 mins walk. The main beach boardwalk in town is about 15 min walk.
