Go skiing at the beach! ⛷
Well, not really, but our travel styles would make you think that you can! 🤣
Travel styles were introduced about 6 months ago to help people find homes which are suitable for various styles of travel and activities. Examples are long-term, romantic and skiing.
The way it's supposed to work, you update your listing to say if your home is suitable for that type of travel style. Then, people can use filters to find you if that's what they're looking for.
Using skiing as an example, if you live in a ski field (so your home is good for a ski holiday), you'd edit your listing and tick the skiing travel style. People can then use the skiing filter to find you.
Trouble is, a lot of people have missed the instruction and ticked the skiing box on their listing because they like skiing, so we have a lot of beachside homes coming up with the skiing filter. I fear a lot of the others are the same.
Please take a moment to review the travel styles on your listing to make sure they accurately reflect whether your home is good for that type of travel.
You'll find travel styles under My listings -> Edit -> Travel Styles.
And if you're at the beach and you actually can ski (Antibes comes to mind), by all means leave it ticked! :)
