Welcome to our house !
We have a large contemporary house with a swimming pool, in the heart of Brittany.
We can also welcome you as hospitality in part of the house.
The space
Our house has:
on the ground floor :
A large living room: living room, dining room, kitchen;
A bedroom with a 160x200cm bed;
A desk.
first floor :
Two bedrooms with 140x190cm beds,
A bedroom with 2 80x200cm beds which convert into a 160x200cm bed,
A desk with extra bed 90x190cm,
A game room,
Two bathrooms.
Our living room is bright and sunny. Musicians will appreciate the piano.
We have a large, well-equipped kitchen.
A 1000 m² garden awaits you with a swimming pool (8x4m) under cover, two terraces, two garden furniture and a barbecue, as well as numerous games for children, and a ping-pong table.
We have 3 adult bikes.
For the evening: numerous games, toys and books for children, table football, darts, and observation of the starry sky on the terrace.
Behind the house, a large 2 hectare park with a playground, a tennis court, a volleyball court and a basketball hoop.
From the park, you can discover numerous hiking and cycling trails. We have bicycles for adults.
Our children are grown up, so we can welcome you for a few nights.
We offer our son's bedroom with a 140cm bed, his office with an extra 90cm bed and a bathroom, all upstairs away from the other rooms.
We will be happy to offer you a good breakfast, and to share a meal with you if you feel like it.

There are steps to enter the house. We have one floor.
We can park the car in the garden.
Notes
In summer, for safety reasons, we only accept children who know how to swim. And we don't receive more than one family at a time.
Our swimming pool is heated by the shelter, between 26 and 32 degrees in summer. It must be maintained once a week for good swimming.

Neighbourhood
Talensac is a very welcoming small town in Brittany.
It is located in the country of Brocéliande, country of Arthurian legends and Merlin. You can visit beautiful Breton villages and go for hikes and walks in the forest. The region has an intense community life and offers numerous Breton festivals and cultural events. We enjoy walking around the area and can offer advice for tours.
10km away is a leisure center on the edge of a lake with many activities for all ages: beach, treetop adventure, sailing...
Gourmets will appreciate our Breton products: French pancakes, pastries, seafood, and other typical recipes to make at home or to enjoy in restaurants.
Rennes is 20 minutes by car, or by bus or train. It is a large, dynamic city with a medieval center where it is good to walk and ride horses, and the Lices market renowned for its very good cuisine.
Talensac is a good starting point for visiting all of Brittany in summer and winter. We are less than 1 hour from the sea: Saint-Malo/Dinard to the north and the Gulf of Morbihan to the south. Mont Saint-Michel is 1 hour 15 minutes away, and Nantes (capital of the Dukes of Brittany) is 1 hour 30 minutes away.

We can travel by train (Rennes) or by plane (Nantes, Rennes).
Paris is 1h25 away by train.

We had a very relaxing holiday in Sophie and Xavier’s cozy and comfortable home! We appreciated all the activities for us and our 4 grown up sons and our daughter in law. Spending time in the beautiful private garden. Pool volley in the pool in nice weather, ping pong tournaments and even a tennis court next door. And lots of games! All the bedrooms also gave everyone the privacy they needed. The location is in the middle of Bretagne's most beautiful places and we visited many of them. They had made great effort in collecting brochures and leaving us suggestions. Communication was very easy and their hospitality was so great, we really felt relaxed and “at home”. Thank you for this opportunity and for leaving our home in perfect condition 👌🏼 -
What a perfect place for an active family with kids. We really enjoyed the pool, the walking tracks, the view, the charming village, the bikes, the big kitchen, the classic dvd's and lots of room to play and relax. Everything was ready for us when we came. From instructions, to local delicious foods, tourist information and fresh sheets to climb right into. Sophie and her family are experienced home-exchangers and all communication is clear, friendly, fast and helpful. We had a great stay in Sophie's home and really enjoyed Bretagne and all it had to offer. We can definitely recommend this to others!
