Paris Downtown – 17th arrondissement – We live in a cosy, comfy apt in a quiet dead-end alley where we and our neighbours meet regularly for drinks and chats outside (when the weather allows it of course). Our apartment has got 2 bedrooms, a living room and an open kitchen. Bathroom with a shower. Our neighbourhood is animated during the day and quiet at night. Very close to main Paris' highlights , many buses and 2 metro lines. Paris is always the right place at anytime and you’ll feel at home in our home !

Lo spazio

In a quiet little and charming dead end alley of the 17th arrondissement, this 2nd floor over 3 (2nd floor for europeans, 3rd floor for the american way of counting) 2 bedrooms apartment is fully furnished and can sleep 2 adults and 1 or 2 kids. A living room with 2 couchs and an open kitchen. One bathroom (Parisian style… meaning small ;-)). The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 parental one with a queen size bed and a bedroom with a large bed (regular size). Kitchen well equipped, good for cooking all the nice fresh produces you'll find in the surrounding market and grocery stores.

Accesso ospite

The flat is at the 2nd floor in the french way of counting, 3rd for the US way with stairs, no elevator.

Quartiere

Good and nice neighbourhood and there are countless things to do and visit nearby. Situated in the 17th arrondissement, nearby the Parc Monceau, at a walking distance to the Champs Elysées, Opéra’s department stores and Montmartre, close to many touristic highlights, shops, metro and buses. Typical Parisian food market at a 5min walking distance, rue de Levis. One of the 3 best Parisian cheese shop just next to our flat. Two “1 star” Michelin restaurants nearby. Enjoy a picnic on the lawns of Parc Monceau on a sunny afternoon or a “café” on a “terrasse” Many grocery stores and bakerys in a close area, even open on sundays. To sum up, you're in Paris with all the clichés you're looking for so much more.

The nearest airport is Paris - CDG. 2 other aiports are also not so far : Paris-Orly or Paris-Beauvais.

Andare in giro

2 metro lines, many buses, and we also agree to have a car swap if you wish. Our car is parked in a parking lot that we own next to the appartment.

Se decidi di scambiare casa con noi, scoprirai che siamo affidabili e cordiali. Patrick lavora come ingegnere del software e io sono un produttore di video. Abbiamo viaggiato in tutto il mondo e amiamo sperimentare posti nuovi - che si tratti del cibo, della musica, delle persone, della natura o dell'architettura, e ciò che ci piace di più è rilassarci con un libro sotto il sole. Stiamo cercando di trasmettere questo stile di vita a nostro figlio di 17 anni. Siamo una famiglia di 3 persone ma potremmo essere 4 viaggiatori con nostra nipote di 18 anni (2 adolescenti sono sempre meglio di uno ;-)) Abbiamo già avuto uno scambio (su un altro sito web) con una coppia in Florida nell'estate 2019, ottima esperienza e nuovi amici con cui chattiamo ancora regolarmente. Cerchiamo scambio con Montreal (Canada) estate 2022.
