A family friendly countryside home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an infrared sauna, a wood stove and a beautiful flower garden.

Lo spazio

Our home is an old little farm with red bricks that we renovated years ago. We have lived in it for 25 years and we love it. We recently put a fresh coat of paint in the house so we are now ready to swap it. We love finding gems in the local flea markets so its has a unique style. We have three grandchildren who stay with us often. The house is family-friendly and has lots of toys and dress-up gowns. There is a security gate above the stairs and we have everything you might need if you travel with young children. On the ground floor, there is the kitchen and eating area. The living room has a nice wooden stove. The television is hidden in the cupboard. There is also a utility room with washing machine, dryer and freezer. Next to the kitchen is a playroom with toys. On the first floor, you will find a bathroom with a bathtub, a shower and a toilet. A bedroom and next to it a dressing room with the infrared sauna. The guest bedroom is the biggest room and have a ensuite shower room and a toilet. From the guest room you can access the children room that we like to call the "spring room". In the children room, there is a double bed that has security gates so the children dont fall of the bed. You can also use our put up baby bed. On the landing of the first floor, there is another playing area with toys and a security gate above the stairs. All the beds have very good mattresses. All together there are 3 toilets, 2 showers and 1 bath. And last but not least, we have a beautiful flower garden. It is lovely to spend the summer nights surrounded by all these beautiful flowers. We are very proud of it and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

You can park your car right in front of the house. There is one floor with stairs. There are no bedroom nor bathroom on the ground floor.

If we host you in the summer time, we might ask you to water our flower garden if it didn't rain or maybe ask a friend of ours to come and do it.

Quartiere

We live in a quiet tiny village with only 300 inhabitants. But the closest town Hannut is only 3 km away where you will find everything you need and some restaurants. We can give you all the good adresses like the cheese shop that has won world championships contests. We like to shop in the organic and bio shop which is only one kilometer away. 10 minutes away, there is a soft play area with great food. We are surrounded by fields that makes it perfect for walks and bike trips.

Andare in giro

The closest bus station in only 200 meter away. There is a train station 9 km away but the easiest way to travel is by car. You can reach the freeway to any directions which is only 5 km away. And then, you can take day trips anywhere in Belgium and beyond! Liege > 30 minutes Brussels > 50 minutes Bruges > 2 hours Amsterdam > 2,5 hours

Siamo una giovane coppia di pensionati. Anche se siamo nuovi nella comunità dello scambio di casa, abbiamo già avuto un'esperienza straordinaria quando ci siamo uniti a nostra figlia mentre faceva lo scambio in Svezia. Ora che abbiamo dato un'ultima mano di vernice alla nostra casa, siamo pronti a scambiarci! Siamo in pensione, quindi molto flessibili e aperti a viaggiare ovunque.
