Our house is a typical quaint Devonshire cottage with stunning sea views and easy access to so many outdoor pursuits. Renovated by us in recent years with a brand new kitchen, It retains lots of traditional cottage characterful features such as a steep staircase and retro fireplaces.
We have a huge rear facing garden with views over the Bideford Bay making it a great house for families or those with pets! The beach is a 4 minute drive or a 20 minute stroll from our door and we are right in the heart of the Devonshire Seaside life.

We have a cosy 3 bedroom house with one family bathroom.
In true UK country cottage style it is a bit quirky with odd steps, corners and angles but that’s why we love it. The house itself is over 120 years old but we have worked hard to modernise it since moving in in 2019. It’s warm, comfortable and as our primary home it has everything a family would need to enjoy their stay.
2 of our bedrooms have beautiful sea views over the bay and the third looks out over the quiet one way street where we live. There is hardly any traffic at all and the most frequent comments we’ve had from guests is how peaceful it is.
Our garden boasts incredible views of the bay and in the summer it gets sunlight pretty much all day long. The terrace and seating area is so peaceful and quiet and a great place to spend time (although with so much to see locally you might be too busy to enjoy it!) the garden is also fully secure for pets.

We have a parking space for one car right outside or there are also multiple free parking areas close to us.
The house is arranged over the ground floor and bedrooms/ bathroom can be found on the first floor.
Due to the age of the property it has steep cottage stairs and lots of little corners so would sadly not be suitable for those with mobility issues. We do have various stairgates in place for our toddlers which can be moved to suit the needs of any visiting families.

What our house lacks in size it certainly makes up for in location. We are within minutes of beautiful locations for-
-surfing

- paddle boarding
- rock climbing/ abseiling

We are in the middle of a small village with a local shop, 2 pubs and a restaurant and only a few minutes drive/ bus to local towns of Bideford, Appledore & Westward Ho! All have some beautiful restaurants/ pubs to suit everyone. From Michelin star to fish & chips on the beach.

The easiest access to our home is by car as public transport in rural Devon is not the same as it is in cities… (we can potentially arrange to leave our car if that is helpful)
The nearest train station is Barnstaple which is 20minutes taxi or 40minutes by bus.

We are only a short still away from lots of bus stops which will take you to all the local towns and villages (appledore, Instow, bideford, westward Ho) or we can potentially arrange to leave our car.

Siamo una famiglia di 4 persone desiderosa di spezzare il percorso che la società vuole per noi e portare i nostri figli a esplorare il mondo quanto più possiamo permetterci!
Possediamo una palestra di fitness funzionale nel Devon, nel Regno Unito, e un'attività di progettazione online e siamo entrambi abbastanza fortunati da poter lavorare da qualsiasi parte del mondo.
Abbiamo 2 ragazzini (di 3 e 2 anni) che amano la vita all'aria aperta che abbiamo nel Devon, nel Regno Unito, ma la nostra missione è vedere più parti del mondo prima di rimanere legati agli orari scolastici!
