Panoramica generale

We live in a thriving market town in the heart of north Norfolk. The perfect location to explore Norfolk Norfolk and only 15 miles from the beautiful city of norwich. We have a frequent railway service, you can be in London in just over 2 hours! Our house is a 1930s detached house, 3 double bedrooms, with a lovely garden and recently restored 1930s summerhouse.

Our home has 3 double bedrooms, kitchen diner, dining room with french doors to the back garden, sitting room and lounge. A downstairs toilet and upstairs large bathroom. There is central heating but also an open fire in the lounge. A large garden with a restored rotating 1930s summerhouse and a front garden with ample parking. Our home is suitable for children age 8+. We work from home but would be open to a longer term swap as we can be mobile!

The home is two story with a turn in the stairs. There is a step up to the porch at the front and back of the house.

Quartiere

North Walsham is a thriving market town with lots of amenities. There is a public swimming pool, 2 public tennis courts (in park 2 mins from house), 2 min walk to supermarket and market place. The train station is a 10 min walk and it’s a 30min journey to Norwich and 20 min trip to Cromer on the north Norfolk coast. There are lots of walks around the town and only a short car ride to many surrounding towns, the beautiful coast and The Broads National Park where you can hire a day boat for a lovely day out.

Travel by car from Norwich on B1150 is 30 minutes. Arrive by train from Norwich station is a 30 min journey and 10 min walk to the house.

L'aeroporto più vicino

The nearest airport is Norwich airport, 15 miles away, a 30min drive. Stansted is under 2 hrs away (our most used airport).

Andare in giro

There is a regular bus and train service from the town. Norwich train station connects to London and Cambridge - easily achievable as a day trip. There are 3 bikes available for you to use too.
