The farmer´s market at nearby Jiriho z Podebrad Square.
The Jiriho z Podebrad square is the heart of the neighbourhood. This is the famous modern church built by Joze Plecnik in the middle of the square. The square is surrounded by many cool cafes, restaurants and bars and there is a farmer´s market. All of the above is open despite an ongoing reconstruction of the square.
This is the view from the Riegrovy sady park which is nearest and most popular park of the area. People like to sit on this slope and watch the city. There is a number of outdoor cafes in the park and a great playground.

Now they prefer this basketball court which is right next to the trampoline and wooden castle.
These funny babies are crawling up and down the Zizkov TV tower, a structure some love some hate which is very close to our home. We grew to love it with its amazing observatory, restaurant, minigolf in the summer and ice-skating ring in the winter (at the foot of it).
You can sit by a fire in a nearby park!
