General Overview

Cozy beach cottage three blocks to ocean, walk to shops and restaurants. Two bedrooms one King and one full bed, one bath. Off street parking. Front and back yards. Walk to town and shops, restaurants.

The Space

Small beach cottage built in 1946. Two Bedrooms, one has a full sized bed and the other has a California king sized bed. Main bedroom opens to garden patio for outdoor dining. One bathroom with shower and tub. Fully stocked light-filled kitchen. Comfortable living room and breakfast nook. Counter with two bar stools. Off street parking for two cars

Notes

This is a small house, 1100 square feet, our days are spent outside year round so there is little need for a large living space. We have mild winters but we do have heating which is turned on Nov-May. There is one floor grate which emanates the heat. There is a protector provided so that children do not step on it. We also have mild summers with cool ocean breezes which come through the multiple windows with four exposures but we provide two portable AC units, one in each bedroom July-October for any unforeseen heatwave. No parties or loud gatherings. This is a quiet residential area and we respect our neighbors. No smoking inside or outside of the house. This cottage is a vacation rental and I ask that you pay the cleaning personnel.

Neighbourhood

Three blocks to the beach, one of the most popular surfing beaches in the area. Around the corner there are nine restaurants on a popular restaurant street and another two blocks away there are more restaurants. This is a tourist town with many attractions. You can spend the day at a number of different beaches or go the the world famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World or Legoland.

Getting to my home

By car a 20 minute drive from the San Diego airport. By car a 50 minute drive from the Tijuana airport

Getting Around

Walk to all restaurants and shops in the Village. By car to bigger shopping centers, the zoo or other attractions.
