Another wonderful stay in Paris courtesy of Padraig. The new(ish) RER line means that central Paris and the Gare de Nord is even more accessible. Plenty of shops and restaurants on the doorstep so no need to venture after a day exploring Paris. Flat was clean and tidy and Padraig is always on hand to answer questions. Tres bien!

Located in the Parisian commune of Courbevoie, in a modern building is the magnificent apartment of Padraig. We arrived on Christmas Day, and Padraig had left us food to start with and also indicated a good business nearby where we could provide us with delicious French food in case we wanted to have dinner at home that night. He had also left the heating on so that we would feel comfortable when we arrived. It is a nice one-bedroom apartment with a small balcony that gives access to the view of a main street full of businesses of all kinds: small and large supermarkets, wineries, cheese shops, good and elegant restaurants and even famous fast food franchises just around the corner, plus about 10 min. walk you have a huge shopping center. Despite how busy its street is, there is no noise thanks to the double glazing of its windows, in addition the building is very quiet and with pleasant and discreet neighbors. The apartment is perfect for two people, but also for two couples or a small family thanks to its new and spacious sofa bed, which according to my daughter is very comfortable. By the way, from a corner on Carrer de Padraig you can see the Eiffel Tower day and night :) The apartment was very clean and tidy. The kitchen is fully equipped and it is amazing how Padraig has taken advantage of every corner and how well placed everything is. He also freed up a closet from his bedroom, which was very kind and helpful. You can tell that Padraig is an experienced exchanger, and we have benefited from this with useful recommendations. By the way, the bedroom mattress is very comfortable, I have slept perfectly. On the other hand, its location is great in Paris, it combines the comfort of a modern area, the tranquility of an area not crowded with tourists, the interest of living like a local and the proximity to the means of transport and the main tourist attractions of the city of light. Even at Christmas within walking distance you have the biggest Christmas market in Paris, which we enjoyed a couple of nights, even my daughter skated on a natural ice rink 10 min. from the apartment (it's a very exciting thing to do that for a girl born under the sun of the Canary Islands). Communication with Padraig was fluid from the beginning, I quickly understood that I had reached an agreement with a good and serious person and that made everything easier. Before, during and after the exchange he worried that everything went well and really everything has been perfect. Padraig is a generous and friendly person, he makes you want to go beyond a simple exchange, transforming it into a new friendship. It was our third time in Paris, but as we already knew the city quite well, two weeks have given us the time to calmly enjoy everything, even to stay longer in bed when we felt like :), but also to get to know the less touristy Paris. Long walks around the city, museums, monuments, Disney, nice shops and galleries, cafes, delicious meals with a long after-dinner conversation since we were not in a hurry. For me specifically, it has been the best of my three stays in Paris. By the way, Padraig left our apartment in perfect condition. Apartment and host highly recommended, do not hesitate.

We love the apartment! Conveniently located and within a 7 to 10-minute walk to the subway. Multiple grocery stores, restaurants, fast food places etc can be found close by. I absolutely love the availability of storage in the apartment. There are hooks everywhere! - kitchen, behind doors, in the bedroom, bathroom thus making it very convenient to hang your caps, towel, etc. I'll be using some of Padraig's idea in my Osaka apartment. The new sofabed is also very comfortable. We protected it with a "towel" and enjoyed our time on it during hotter days watching the Olympics. Padraig also have us buy a new fan so we will be more comfortable. Thank you for hosting us, Padraig!

Padraig’s home is lovely and cosy and is in a really good location only a 15 minute walk to the Metro & RER. The exchange was seamless with lots of communication. Feels like we have made a new friend.

A lovey location. safe, easy access for groceries. very clean area. A comfortable apartment, walking distance to transportation. La, defense are is a lovely hangout place, walking distance to Padraig 's home. You can even get a glimpse of of Effiel Tower from his home locations. We actually walked to Arc De Triumph and Eiffel Toxer😁. Transportation is easy too. Well equipped kitchen, and the little balcony is my daily indulgence to people watch with my glass of wine at the end of the day High recommended to swap home with Padraig with easy communication and compassion

George and I had fun even before arriving, because his manual made us laugh one page after another. Lots of good info and tips, of course. Million thanks to Padraig and his top notch hospitality. We were welcome with a bottle of wine, some snacks and breakfast goodies. There are lots of maps and guides on his desk, ready for us to explore. His home is clean and convenient, with many stores, pharmacies and restaurants nearby. Our stay was comfortable and joyful. We often walked to La Defense metro station (13min from his home), which led us to all touristic landmarks in 10-20 minutes. Our offices in La Defense and Neuilly-sur-Seine area are just 10-20min's walk away from this flat. All in all this is a perfect spot for our stay. Looking forward to hosting you, Padraig!

We spent a wonderful week in Paris, benefiting from the comfort of Padraig's little place in Courbevoie. It is well equipped with all the essentials, and it's really easy to get to pretty much any part of Paris by train and metro. There are some nice restaurants in walking distance from the flat, and a bakery (for fresh croissants and bread all day long) just around the corner. Padraig is clearly an experienced home exchanger and communicated well with us throughout, providing some useful advice about the neighbourhood, things to do in Paris and how to get around. What a great experience we had. The home was in excellent condition. Very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay.
