Neighbourhood
There are many many cafes, restaurants, food trucks, bars etc within walking distance including a few Michelin starred. You can name any cuisine you would like, and we most likely have a restaurant for you in this area. We are closer to midtown& downtown than most of Manhattan neighborhoods, but proudly Queens- the most ethnically diverse neighborhood in the world.
A large CVS (a pharmacy chain that also sells groceries and toys) and a supermarket are in the buildings next door and open late. There will be a corner deli (NYC classic!) opening this fall 2022 in front of our building. There are also 3 supermarkets, 5 playgrounds, a new library, post office, etc all within 10 minutes walk.
Gantry Plaza State Park and Hunters Point South Park along the East River is right in front of us. The park is a tourist spot where you can have a picnic with the view of Manhattan skyline. There are free activities (yoga, zumba, kids classes, outdoor movie screening etc) everyday throughout Summer.

LGA (5miles), JFK (12miles) and EWR (19miles)
Getting Around
Subway 7 train Vernon-Jackson Aves stop is 6 min walk. 3 other subway lines (E, F, G) are within walking distance. East river ferry, Hunters Point South stop is across the street, located in the waterfront park. 1 stop, 3min ride to Midtown Manhattan and leaves every 20min.
No private parking lot. Street Parking, both metered and non- metered are available but hard to find during weekdays.
