Scandretts Regional Park. Always keep a look out for dolphins and orcas, (killer whales). We saw a pod of 6 orcas from here, one Sunday morning, as they swam along in Martins Bay.
Another local walk with weird pancake type rocks. This is Sandspit where there is a marina and cafe. Boat trips to Kawau Island leave from here. A great day trip on the mail-boat, to Kawau to see wallabies and peacocks and have coffee at Mansion House.
One of numerous walks near here; this one Mahurangi West Regional Park

Our very own bush walk at the back of our house. Short but sweet! We've planted many native trees here that Pete has grown from locally sourced seed.
A few of the hundreds of native trees Pete has grown from locally sourced seeds. Lots planted in the local area.
A good coffee at home makes such a difference! Enjoy a flat white or cappuccino.
The view from the top of the Donkey Steps, looking over Algies Bay. This is our favorite walk from our front door.
